The vagus nerve is part of the parasympathetic nervous system. It is the longest of the 12 cranial nerves in the body. It governs various bodily functions, including digestion, heart rate, and respiratory function. Most importantly, it is responsible for calming your body after stressful situations. Activating the root chakra promotes safety and down regulation of stress. The heart chakra supports emotional balance and heart coherence. The throat chakra stimulates vagal tone through sound and breath. and the third eye chakra enhances mindfulness, which calms the nervous system. I've carefully designed this sound bath to activate these chakras, and your vagus nerve. Working with these chakras may help shift the body into a rest-and-digest state. In this state, anxiety drops, mood lifts, sleep improves, and stress resilience deepens. I hope this sound bath brings you and your body great relief. Be well, Vibe Tribe.
