Hello and welcome to The Healing Path.
You find yourself here because you are curious to explore the mirror within.
Take a moment to settle into your space.
Allow yourself to get comfortable.
If it feels right,
I invite you to gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Again,
Breathe in and let it go.
In this moment.
I ask that you give yourself permission.
To simply be here.
You don't need to think about what comes next.
You don't need to accomplish anything.
For these next few moments,
There is nothing to fix.
Nothing to change.
Nothing to prove.
Just you.
Here.
With yourself.
Throughout our lives,
We are given so many mirrors.
The actual mirror we look into each morning.
The reflections we see in photographs.
The expectations of family,
Friends,
Society,
And the world around us.
And sometimes.
Without even realizing it.
We begin to see ourselves through these mirrors.
We learn to focus on what we believe is wrong.
What isn't enough?
What should be different?
But there is another mirror.
A deeper mirror.
The mirror within.
The place where you experience your worth,
Your strengths,
Your tenderness,
Your resilience,
Your dreams,
Your story.
And the person you are becoming.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Allow yourself to release one expectation you've placed on yourself.
You don't have to name it Just imagine setting it down.
Now bring your awareness gently to your body.
Notice your breath.
Notice your shoulders.
Your chest.
Your hands.
Your face There is no need to evaluate anything you notice.
Simply notice.
And remind yourself.
This is my body.
This is the body.
That has carried me here in this moment.
Think about everything your body has allowed you to experience.
The people you have loved.
The places you have gone,
The laughter you have shared.
The challenges that you've moved through.
And the moments that you've grown from.
The life you are still living.
Your body has been with you through all of it.
And perhaps.
Instead of asking.
Do I like the way I look?
You can begin asking.
How do I want to feel?
In relationship with myself.
Perhaps the answer is safe.
Connected.
Accepted.
Peaceful.
Confident,
Compassionate,
Free.
Whatever word comes to you,
Allow yourself to hold onto it.
Now imagine yourself.
Standing in front of a mirror.
But this time.
You aren't looking for something to criticize.
You aren't searching for something to change.
Instead,
Imagine looking at yourself as a whole person.
A person with a story,
A person with strengths.
A person who has experienced difficult things and kept going.
A person who has grown,
And a person who is still becoming.
And imagine.
Speaking to yourself.
With the same compassion you would offer someone you deeply care about.
I invite you.
To silently tell yourself.
I see you.
I am learning to see myself with greater compassion.
My worth is not determined by my appearance.
I do not have to be perfect.
To be worthy.
I am more than what can be seen in a mirror.
And finally.
.
.
I am worthy of being at home within myself.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Let those words settle.
As you prepare to leave this space.
Remember that transforming your self-image isn't about learning to love every part of yourself every day.
It is about changing the way you relate to yourself.
It is choosing curiosity instead of criticism.
Compassion instead of comparison.
Connection instead of judgment.
And remembering that the reflection in the mirror is only one small part of your story.
The most important reflection.
Is the one you carry within.
Take one final deep breath in… and slowly exhale.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice the space around you.
And when you are ready.
Gently open your eyes.
And take this with you.
You don't need to become someone else to be worthy.
You don't need to change your reflection to change the way you see yourself.
The work begins within.
And you can begin again.
With compassion.
