Three-Minute Healing Prayer

Close your eyes and embrace the truth about miracles. Pope Pious XII, certain of his imminent death, recited the Anima Christi. Soon after, he had a vision of Christ and was healed. This prayer has medieval origins and has been used in many Ignatian Retreats.

Hello beloved listener, Welcome to your daily Christian meditation. Before we begin, I urge you to prepare yourself to fully embrace today's prayer. You may sit or stand, Close your eyes or lower your gaze. We pray for healing and increase of love for our Lord, But at this moment, In this Very moment, All you have to do is listen in silence. Everything else will be given unto thee. Today's prayers is the Anima Christi. Our Lord Jesus appeared to Pope Pius XII and cured him with this prayer. And so we begin. Soul of Christ, Sanctify me. Body of Christ, Save me. Blood of Christ, Inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, Wash me. Passion of Christ, Strengthen me. O good Jesus, Hear me, Within thy wounds hide me. Suffer me not to be separated from thee, From the malicious enemy, Defend me. At the hour of my death, Call me and bid me to come to thee. That with thy saints, I may praise thee forever and ever, Amen. Now you may slowly open your eyes and look up as you enter the world again. Remember that in this short period of silence, Graces and favors were poured on you. You have done well, And may the rest of your day be filled with peace and healing.
