For autistic, ADHD and any kind of neurodivergent listeners in burnout. This practice asks nothing of you. There is no breath to control, no body scan to complete, and no instruction to bring your attention back when it drifts — wherever your attention has gone is treated as the practice. The anchor is weight and contact: the surface underneath you, and the fact of being held by it. It stays available on days when the inside of the body is muted, or unclear, or far too loud. You can lie down. You can keep your eyes open. You can move, rock, stim or fidget throughout. There is no bell, nothing sudden, and no advice about recovery. You can stop partway through and it still counts as a complete listen. Around twenty minutes, spoken in a warm unhurried voice with a background of gentle binaural sounds [by Silencio Music] in Theta waves to aid relaxation.
