This meditation aligns with the energies of the new moon. At the beginning of the new moon cycle we align to the pre dawn vibration, that something is stirring, something is about to begin. This meditation was recorded in February, the pre dawn of Spring time, when the world is starting to awaken.

Finding yourself in a comfortable position I invite you now to take a nice deep cleansing breath in and release and on your next deep breath in I invite you to just let your eyes soften or lower your gaze whatever feels good for you and taking in one last deep breath and as you release just letting your body soften your shoulders your back whether you're seated or lying down I'd like you now to imagine yourself in your bed and you've just woken up and you're aware that it's not morning you're not really quite sure what time it is and you know you could just roll over and probably go back to sleep but something is stirring in you something twitching and you feel the need to rise and so I'd like you now to peel yourself up from the bed maybe you're being careful not to wake anybody you have somebody in the room with you maybe you have a pet with you a partner or a child and even if you're alone that's fine you just somehow have this need that because it's still dark that you need to creep quietly across the room and I'd like you to make your way into the space in your house where you you like to spend most of your time so you might be in a kitchen might be in a lounge room dining room as you're moving towards this room and you're creeping through the house just notice the light it's it's almost like a twilight it's not it's not pitch-black darkness it's not quite the middle of night it's that pre-dawn time just before what's known as civil twilight where you start to see the sky getting lighter maybe you can hear birds stirring outside a fox maybe there is the odd hum of traffic the world is not quite awake yet but there are still stirrings and this time of year is so aligned with this time of night as we are approaching spring we're almost at the pre-dawn of spring the days are getting lighter gradually the earth is warming the ground is thawing out and the early signs of spring are starting to appear I'd like you now to take yourself to a window and observe the sky you notice that it's more of a royal blue a midnight blue it's not black but it's not daylight there's no sign of sunrise quite yet and as you look up in the sky you notice tiny crescent of the new moon ever so slightly in the sky just poking out you can see her there a bright silver and you realize that we are now at the beginning of a new cycle the new moon is a new lunar cycle the start of a new 29 and a half day and it's a time for us to set our intentions to manifest to plant new seeds after we've released everything from the full moon a few weeks ago and we've spent time in our dark moon phase this is really the renewal the new beginning the clean slate a time to consider now what seeds have you planted that are beginning to sprout what did you manifest going into this year and what have you done so far to make this happen what action have you taken with everything that we manifest whether it's a new job a new home we we have to take aligned action we can't just ask for it and expect it to turn up if it's a new job you're desiring you have to look for a new one you have to apply for a new one if it's a new home you have to start looking and so these are steps that we take to get us to that point and so when we planted the seeds these are the things that we do which allow those seeds to sprout I'd like you to consider now what aligned action do you need to take and maybe it's not a thing that you're manifesting maybe it's a feeling but again what are you doing to help yourself this pre-dawn state teaches us that it's okay to go slow but we don't need to rush and every month we have a new clean slate that we can work towards we can tweak our goals knowing that the full moon we have time to release anything that hasn't worked for us and let that go what is it that you've learned over the last cycle that is gonna change how you approach this new one looking around at the sky now you start to notice that it's lighter than what it was when you first stirred and you start to notice that you can hear more birdsong you can see more of the land around you you know that soon enough the Sun will be ready to rise and just as the Sun is ready to rise and just as spring is ready to begin you know too that your manifestations and your intentions will one day bloom will one day be here and right now you are in this phase where that seed of yours is germinating and it's really getting ready to sprout and right now that's all you need that's where you need to be take one last look at the sky and now I'd like you to make your way back to your room quietly creeping into your bedroom and back into your bed and just appreciating this time that you've taken for yourself to just observe these feelings and notice where you are and taking a nice deep breath allowing yourself to arrive into your body and as you release I invite you to just flutter open your eyes thank you for joining me on this meditation and enjoy the rest of your day
