I am drawn to Amber lately,
And these pieces that I'm wearing They've been with me for many years now.
And they've seen me through different seasons of my life,
Through different versions of myself.
And different timelines.
And in crystal theory,
Amber is described as amorphous.
So,
Unlike crystals,
It doesn't form with a repeating internal geometric structure of straight lines and angles.
It's a resin.
Think of tree resin.
It's light.
It's more tree than crystal,
More fossil than stone.
And it's warm,
And it's earthy,
And it's almost like this kind of liquid sunlight that has just settled into this soft and rounded form.
And as with all aspects of life,
There are many different ways of looking at things,
Aren't there?
And I reflect on Albert,
I'm reminded.
That everything is in motion.
Even if it's moving so gently that we can't perceive it with our physical eyes.
So,
I picture it as this version of life which exists in this kind of dreamy,
Soft motion.
So,
From one perspective,
These beads and the face of my ring are fixed and solid,
But they're still the result of movement,
Of gentle transformation over time.
And if we consider the energy of potential,
This living force,
This energetic current which we can learn to tune into and harness and move with,
And like a magnet naturally attract and release experiences which resonate with who we are becoming,
What would happen if we tapped into our potential as mindfully?
As we are possibly capable of.
If we moved through life in this amber wisdom kind of way,
If life were operating in this slower,
Soft motion,
This place where you could more clearly see things as they are on their way to becoming,
How would you choose or move differently?
Because yes,
There is a time for action,
And yes,
Some situations need reaction,
But we're not designed to exist in this space constantly,
Are we?
We need balance.
So,
Next time,
It either feels as though things just aren't moving too fast or like lashes stuck.
If it seems as though nothing's changing or there are just so many things to navigate that you can't even compute.
Or maybe you're experiencing a time when you're wondering whether anything is happening at all.
Why not try tuning in to Amber?
Why not try remembering this quiet intelligence that it holds within it and reminding yourself that just because you can't see the movement doesn't mean it isn't there.
Realizing that when something appears to be fixed,
Maybe,
Just maybe.
It hasn't yet finished becoming.
And I'd really love to know now,
Are you sensing the slow winds of change already in motion in your life?
Are you poised and ready to move with them?
Semper Fiumata.
