Welcome to this daily grounding and check-in with self.
I invite you to find a comfortable seat or laying down in a place where you won't be disturbed for the next five minutes.
As you find your spot,
Letting the eyes close.
Dropping into the breath.
Starting to notice it come in through the nose.
Down into the body and out through the nose.
Seeing if you can trace its path into your nostrils,
Down your throat,
Into your lungs.
And back out again.
I'm beginning to notice the connection with the surface that you're on or the earth below you.
Feeling that effect of gravity on your body.
And see if you can let yourself sink a little deeper,
Get a little heavier.
Scanning your body for any tension.
For places of holding and tightness.
Inviting them to let go.
Noticing how that allows gravity to pull you down a little bit more.
Allows you to sink a little deeper by letting go.
Allowing yourself to receive the sounds of my voice.
Of this creek.
Of the day.
And really letting the sound come to you versus going out to hear it.
Being in this practice of receiving.
As you receive the breath.
Into your body and you receive the sound.
And you receive your other sensation.
And with every out breath,
Maybe a practice of letting go.
Receiving on the in-breath.
And letting go on the out breath without tension.
Taking a few breaths in this awareness.
Receiving on the inhale down into your belly.
And letting go on the exhale through your mouth.
And dropping your awareness down into your chest,
Into your human heart.
Just checking in with your heart in this moment.
Does it feel open,
Closed,
Relaxed,
Constricted?
Just breathing into your heart.
Bringing acceptance whatever is And then letting this acceptance,
This feeling of acceptance radiate from your heart into other areas of your life.
They require.
Accept.
Taking one more deep breath in through your nose,
Down into your belly.
Letting it out through your mouth,
Letting go.
You need to notice the light behind your eyelids if your eyes are closed.
Meaning again to tune in with the sounds in your environment or the sounds of this creek.
Bringing awareness to your fingertips and your toe tips.
To gently blink open your eyes.
Orient to the room around you,
Looking around.
Seeing what's there and welcome here.
Have a beautiful day.
