Good evening and thank you for joining me for this exercise wherever you are in the world.

Now we're going to jump into it fairly quickly but before we do I'd just like to very briefly outline what it is we're going to be doing.

I do have to say first though that this is a lucid dreaming practice so if you're new to this and you're just investigating at this stage a couple of things you might want to keep in mind.

Firstly this practice alone is unlikely to be enough to induce lucidity.

I'm saying mainly that those of you are already engaged in lucid dream training and all of its other facets so reality checks,

Dream journaling and so on.

If you're not yet at that stage and you're interested in advancing the practice I will be covering that in other recordings so feel free to keep an eye out for those.

And by all means stick around for this one and have a listen you might just get lucky and achieve lucidity anyway who knows.

Secondly just a gentle advisory by engaging in a lucid dream practice we deliberately and necessarily blur the lines between fantasy and reality the real and the unreal so if you have or have had in the past any mental health difficulties such as psychosis,

Schizophrenia,

Bipolar disorder,

Certain types of PTSD or dissociative disorders then it's definitely advisable to speak to your doctor or healthcare professional before embarking on your lucid dream journey.

That having been said we can now get this evening's practice underway.

So what we'll be doing this evening is just planting the correct seed in the correct furrow in order to create the right mental environment for lucidity when we're sleeping and we'll be starting with two affirmation mantras back to back played over a background frequency of 963 hertz the so-called god or crown chakra frequency which you'll hear starting up in a few moments.

After that I'll just talk you down with a body scan and that should help you to induce a nice sound and peaceful sleep if you happen to drift off before we're finished with the mantras that's absolutely fine you'll still be receptive to everything that goes on so let's get underway then you don't have to do anything just get yourself into your preferred sleeping position puff up your pillow get yourself as comfortable as possible adjust the volume on your mobile or your headphones just so it's not too loud and we'll begin.

So now that we've planted the seed of lucidity,

We can move on to the incubation chamber.

And let's do that straight away.

I'd like to invite you to imagine,

If you can,

That you're lying on a beach in a warm,

Tropical climate.

There's nobody else on the beach,

Just you.

White sand sparkles in the midday sun.

In the distance,

The soothing sound of gently rolling waves can be heard,

Rolling out their rhythmic beat of calm and relaxation.

You've managed to find yourself a spot in the shade of a palm tree.

And as you lie there,

As relaxed as any person has ever been,

The path of the sun begins to move the shadow of the palm tree up and along your body,

Slowly,

Almost imperceptibly.

You first start to notice the sensation of warmth in your toes.

The warm,

Tropical sun warming your toes,

Making them noticeably warmer than the rest of your body.

The gaps between your toes begin to warm now.

Slowly,

Slowly,

The shadow recedes,

Warming more and more of you as it does.

Your feet now are starting to become warm.

Ankles,

Lower shins,

Moving slowly up the legs.

And as,

Very gradually,

Each part of you becomes warmer under the glare of the glorious sun rays,

You begin to notice that the heat itself is giving you the extraordinary ability to detect all of the tiny little cells and vessels in each region,

Enabling you to observe without judgement how every little molecule of your being is feeling in this present moment.

Warmth up to the knees now,

Into the skin,

Through the kneecaps,

And soothing all the way through to the pit of your knees.

Slowly,

Slowly,

Up it goes.

As it goes up,

Middle of the thighs now,

Any areas of discomfort are melted away by the healing sun's positive rays.

The areas that have already been warmed by the sun are now feeling completely different to those that remain in the shade of the palm tree.

To the pelvis now,

Warming,

Soothing,

Healing,

Just follow it up slowly now,

Observing without judgement all the various feelings as they are revealed to you by the light of warmth,

The bone-deep warmth cleansing you within and without,

Right the way through so that even the sand starts to feel warm beneath you.

Up to the torso it goes,

Working its magic every millimetre of the way,

Bringing with it calm,

Stillness,

And clarity.

Almost all of your being is encased in this glorious,

Healing warmth,

Nose,

Eyes,

Forehead,

And as the soothing warmth reaches your crown,

I'd like you to imagine that a dazzling bright white light begins to emit from your crown and spills into the area around you,

And as it does so,

A feeling of utter calm and tranquillity washes through every fibre of your body,

And the only thing you can imagine doing is resting in this space for as long as you can.
