I have felt a little scared and out of control recently with Covid-19 and isolation every day. I created this piece to help soothe my addled soul and I hope that it can do the same for you. Breathing lots and deeply has helped and this track focuses on your breathing throughout. Thank you.

Today we have a meditation to help you feel safe in times when perhaps things aren't quite the way they usually are and some people are feeling stresses and some people are feeling uncomfortable.

Let's begin.

It's time for you to find a place that feels safe,

Warm and cocoon like.

Take a moment or two to perhaps find a blanket or a comfortable cushion.

Maybe you'd like to lay down or sit in a chair.

This is your time now and there's nothing you need to do and nowhere you need to be.

And in the next few minutes you'll find yourself in a place of perfect peace,

Perfect calm and perfect safety.

First of all I want you to take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

One,

Two,

Three and then out again.

That's one,

Two,

Three.

Let's repeat that.

That's one,

Two,

Three.

And out.

One,

Two,

Three.

And for the last time feeling more supported and healthy if you do so.

One,

Two,

Three and out.

One,

Two,

Three.

And now you are starting to relax,

Letting go of any self-doubts and letting go of any anxiety or fear.

Take your time.

This is all about you.

Focus only on your breath as you begin to breathe slowly,

Those long deep breaths in through your nostrils and the long deep breaths out of your mouth.

Feel the calming,

Rhythm sensation as the breath goes in and out of your lungs.

Feel any fear start to dissipate,

To melt away as you sink back into your place of rest.

Feeling all the tension and fears draining away and bringing much needed relief.

Welcome in a feeling of safety,

A feeling of being in the right place at the right time where you can truly be yourself and express every element of your personality.

Remember to focus on your breath slowly,

Without force and safe in the knowledge that you are finding true inner peace and harmony.

Now you are beginning to feel serene.

This is you in your purest,

Most tranquil essence.

This is the real you,

The you who existed before you felt anxious and before your fears spiralled out of control.

Now in this moment in time,

Open your mind.

You are free from pressure.

You are free from pressure.

And now your subconscious mind is already starting to look after you.

You have no more time in your life to waste on negativity.

It's draining away like droplets of rain into the ground.

Look at those fears from the past as they disappear.

The doubts,

The fears,

Any inner turmoil,

Just let it go.

It's going.

It's going.

It's gone.

Hold on to your confidence and welcome your true potential.

Open up your heart,

Your life and freedom surrounds you.

Deep inside you are a positive,

Confident person.

Nothing can stop you from propelling forward.

It's time to release the real you,

The one who feels assured,

Relaxed and capable.

Inhale slowly.

And as you do,

Feel the positive healing energy flood your body from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head.

Feel instantly positive.

You feel safe.

Exhale slowly,

Continuing to relax your body even more.

It feels good to be free,

To break open from the mental chains and to simply experience the moment surrounded by positive energy.

Embrace the moment,

That wonderful feeling of freedom.

You have so much potential.

You deserve to be happy and to be full of confidence and safety.

This inspiring feeling will continue to grow and grow and you will feel stronger and happier than you have ever been before.

It's time to take back your life.

And as you breathe,

You can feel that each inward breath draws in colourful,

Radiant,

Positive energy.

Pick a colour,

Purple,

Red,

A colour that speaks to you.

Each outward breath takes away anything that does not serve you.

Your future is bright.

You have new opportunities waiting for you.

Welcome them in.

You feel strong,

Confident and in control.

You are in charge of your own life.

You create the sense of certainty and positivity all the time.

You just need to say,

I am safe.

I am confident.

I am me.

You deserve to have a full and enriched life.

You can do anything that you want.

You can go anywhere in life that you choose.

Simply reach out and take advantage of these magnificent chances.

Continue to breathe,

Inhaling slowly and feeling the air surging into your lungs,

Expanding them,

For your life force,

Healing your mind and body,

Chasing away anything that you no longer need.

You are empowered.

You are resilient and poised.

You can tap into this marvellous feeling at any time.

Just say,

I am free.

I am me.

Nothing can stand in your way.

Your old anxieties have gone.

Your fears no longer exist.

They have lost their power over you.

You are whole.

You are open.

You are perfect.

And everything is opening up before you.

You are safe.
