In this talk, I explain what feminine embodiment really means and why feminine qualities such as softness, intuition, receptivity, sensuality, aliveness, and connection cannot be learned through thinking alone, but are experienced through the body. You'll also discover the three core gateways of feminine embodiment practice — breath, movement, and sound — and how they help us move from the mind back into a deeper connection with ourselves, our body, and feminine essence.

What is feminine embodiment?

Basically,

It stands for embodying,

Finding a way to move,

To express,

To experience,

To feel the feminine energy or the feminine essence within yourself.

Now,

Specifically when it comes to the feminine,

Which has all to do with your body,

Your ability to feel,

To slow down,

To soften,

To open up,

To connect to your sensuous nature,

Your fullness,

Lowly nature,

As well as your ability to receive,

To surrender,

To love,

And to connect to your intuition and truly trust it and listen to it.

All of those qualities are something that I could talk to you about and get you a theoretical understanding.

And yet at the same time,

The way to truly learn those qualities and connect to those skills and to that essence is not something that you do with your head.

That's only something you can access and tap into and learn about with your body.

And so that's basically what we do in feminine embodiment.

We basically connect to qualities like softening,

Slowing down,

Going more inward,

Listening to your body,

Connecting to your emotions,

Your ability to feel,

But also your ability to really play in your aliveness,

Your sensuality,

All of those qualities and aspects within ourselves,

We can connect to and learn about with our body.

And so the way that I design feminine embodiment practice is basically by using the three keys that help you to connect to your feminine.

And basically,

Keys that get you out of your head and directly into your body.

Those three keys are your breath,

So that means we might use and do practices that include the breath.

It includes movement,

The second key.

So different kinds of movement,

Which could be yoga,

But also dance or just more free flow,

Somatic movements.

And the third key is sound.

So finding a way to connect to your throat,

Your ability to make sound,

To express your truth.

And specifically when we combine these three together,

That's when we have the most powerful combination,

The most effective way to straight away get out of your head into your body and connect to your feminine energy and your feminine essence.
