Hi,
My name is Dike and I'm going to guide you through a very yummy embodiment practice just designed to wake up.
.
.
And open up and connect to your body in the morning.
You can do this practice literally while you're still in bed under the covers.
You can do this lying down.
You can also do this sitting up.
I'm gonna be guiding you through it step by step.
One bell marks the start,
Three bells mark the end.
Okay,
So as I just mentioned,
As you can do this either lying down,
Sitting up,
You might still actually be in bed under the covers to do so.
So feel free to choose the most comfortable,
Cozy option for you.
And basically the essence of this practice is that you stretch and connect and open your body as if you were like a lazy cat.
That's just like sunbathing in the sun or that's like basically like just waking up from its most.
Yummy,
Nurturing,
Nourishing nap.
And if you've seen cats,
You know that can really enjoy life,
Really soak up the pleasure of life.
So imagine that that's the sleep that you woke up from.
So whether you're lying down or sitting,
You can close down your eyes from here.
And just coming into stillness.
Taking a gentle breath in through your nose.
And a gentle breath out through your nose.
And then from here I want you to sort of curl yourself up as if you were really having that super amazing sleep,
That amazing nap.
So you can come to lie down.
If you're sitting you can also really allow yourself to be comfortable even relaxing back.
And then from wherever you are right now,
The next breath that you're taking that your body naturally takes for you.
You're starting to become aware that,
Oh,
It's a new day.
I am coming out of that sleep space.
Into your the awareness.
Of being awake And I want you to put maybe a gentle smile on your face.
Take a moment to say thank you that you get to wake up again another morning,
Another day.
And then from here,
Allowing your body to stretch.
So maybe stretching your arms wide or overhead,
Maybe stretching your legs out.
And maybe even adding.
Little bit of sound like remember if you're like really having a good stretch out it's almost super hard to not make a sound Ugggggggggggggggggg So adding to that lazy cat stretch.
See if you can really and joy and find.
The pleasure in stretching out and moving your body.
You can roll around.
And you're just at the same time also exploring because you might be specifically early in the morning when you start stretching and moving your body for the first time.
Not only encounter pleasure and joy in your body you might also be like oh that's tight oh this is a little uncomfortable I for sure am feeling that.
It is early in the morning for me.
I kind of like literally rolled out of bed and started recording this,
Creating this.
And so If that's the case,
I want you to stay really present with that.
And sort of find the stretch,
The movement where like,
Oh yeah,
This is kind of what my body needs in order to release some of that tension,
To gently wake up.
And it might be really nice,
My body does it already naturally,
I noticed,
To take a deep breath.
And inside out,
Maybe with that sound of the stretch.
And so continue rolling around.
Continue.
Stretching,
Moving your body.
And even finding those places of tension.
That kind of need that stretching,
Kind of need that waking up,
That movement,
Needing that love,
That acceptance,
That presence.
And maybe if you encounter an area.
.
.
That feels extra tense.
Can feel free to hang out there for a little bit.
I'm just exploring how can I stretch to gently.
Not forcefully.
And still with love.
Sort of open that up a little give it what it needs The last few moments here.
Of stretching like lazy cats.
Oh.
And then slowly dropping into stillness again You can place your hands resting somewhere on your body.
Just taking a few moments here,
Just witnessing.
Your body.
Your mind.
Any sensations or emotions.
You And from here.
You can place your hands in front of your chest and namaste.
And just thanking yourself for showing up.
Remembering.
That your body is where your feminine essence,
Your feminine power lives.
It's essential to take care and to connect to your body.
This is a place that you can come back to during your day.
