Welcome to this evening's meditation.
I'm Dominique and I'm here to guide you into a peaceful,
Restful sleep tonight.
This is your time,
A time to let go of everything that no longer serves you and to prepare your mind,
Body and spirit for a beautiful night's rest.
As you settle in,
Find a comfortable position,
Whether you're lying down in bed or seated,
Gently resting.
Allow your body to feel completely supported.
Begin to soften any areas of tension,
Welcoming a feeling of safety and calm.
Now,
Let's start by taking a deep full breath in and as you exhale,
Let go of anything you don't need right now.
Once again a full breath in and as you breathe out,
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Continue with this deep mindful breathing throughout the meditation.
Each breath is an invitation to release the weight of the day.
Take another deep inhale and a slow,
Gentle exhale.
With each breath,
Imagine yourself sinking deeper into relaxation,
Letting go of any stress,
Any worries.
Feel your shoulders soften,
Your jaw unclench,
Your eyes rest.
You are safe here.
With each breath,
Imagine any tension melting away,
Leaving you feeling lighter,
More open,
More at peace.
So come and go,
But tonight you don't need to follow them.
Imagine each thought as a soft cloud drifting across the sky.
You can watch it float by without getting attached,
Just letting it pass.
Know that everything can wait.
Right now,
You're here to nurture your well-being and recharge your spirit.
So let the thoughts come in and then let them pass by,
Just as if they're clouds in the sky.
Now,
Gently bring your focus to your heart space.
Let yourself feel gratitude for showing up for this moment.
Maybe you're grateful for a small victory today,
Or maybe just for taking this time for yourself tonight.
Whatever comes to mind,
Hold it close and allow it to warm.
Just like a gentle hug to yourself.
We will now go through some I am affirmations.
And remember repetition is key to really embed these beliefs into your subconscious mind.
So with your heart open and your mind at ease,
Let's set a gentle intention for tonight's rest.
Say to yourself,
I am calm.
I am safe.
I am ready to rest.
I am safe.
I am ready to rest.
I'm now going to quiet for a short while because I would like you to repeat this intention in your mind or out loud if that feels right.
Repeat it as many times as feels good to you.
Each word is a promise to yourself,
A reminder that you deserve rest and peace.

So as we bring this meditation to a close,
Let your breath find its own natural rhythm.
Know that sleep will come easily,
Effortlessly,
And that your body will carry you into a night of deep nourishing rest.
