
More Space For Love

This practice guides you to discover the boundless love that already exists within, waiting to flow more freely into every aspect of your life.

I am ready to get quiet.
How about you?
So if you are,
I invite you to sit in a comfortable position,
Get warm.
I have a blanket over my knees so I'm warm.
And I want to ask you to remove distractions if you can,
Just so you can go deeper.
So I just turn off my phone.
If you have a pet in the room,
If you can put them in the other room for the moment.
And uncross your legs so your feet touch the ground.
And as you begin to connect to your breathing,
Remember your breath is technology.
Your breath connects you to your inner self and to everything around you.
So we want your breath to be free.
We want you present to your breath so you're paying attention to it.
And as you begin to connect to your breath,
Allow your imagination to draw a line or a chord from the soles of your feet all the way down the earth,
The core of the earth.
And you can send your breath deep down from your feet to the earth.
Imagine your breath as liquid or light.
And begin to feel the connection to Mother Earth.
So supporting you,
Grounding you,
Receiving your weight,
Your feet,
Your legs.
You can picture this chord also coming from your tailbone or your pelvis,
All the way down your legs,
Through your feet into Mother Earth's core,
All the way down.
Breathing and sending your attention there with your intention to connect to Mother Earth and stay grounded through the practice.
And the more you do it,
The easier it is to picture your breath going all the way down like a light beam to the core of the earth and return back to you.
And perhaps it's energizing your pelvic floor and legs,
Your pelvis,
Your hips.
And you can allow it to come a little higher up into your energy centers,
Your lowest,
The red one in the pubic area.
Lighten up,
Expanding,
Radiating.
You can picture it red.
With each breath,
It becomes a little brighter and glows.
And now above it,
Your orange or sacral energy centers light up,
Radiates,
Expands,
All around your lower belly.
See if you can visualize the red one and the orange one together.
Blessing them,
Sending them love and gratitude for keeping your body functioning and healthy.
Moving your attention now to the solar plexus,
The center of your personal power,
Joy,
Self-confidence.
Picture it like a bright yellow sun,
Radiating,
Glowing in every direction,
Front,
Sides,
And back.
Aligned with the second one and the first one,
Like spheres spinning and glowing.
Feel now your base of support a lot stronger as you sit on this presence of your three lower centers aligned,
Radiant,
Energized.
Connect to your feet and the center of the earth again,
And those roots,
That grounding cord,
And let it infuse its energy,
The energy from the earth itself,
To these three lower centers,
Making the red brighter,
The orange more glowing,
And the yellow even more radiant,
Like a sun,
Sustaining life from within.
And bringing now your attention to your heart area,
Picturing here a sphere,
Emerald green.
We are going to place our attention there,
And as you breathe,
And let it expand and radiate,
We're going to call in for our guides and support.
Perhaps you work with ascended masters or angels,
Or a mentor or teacher,
Someone that means something to you,
Someone or something that represents that wisdom,
Compassion,
Love.
We're going to invite them to join us here now,
To support us in this practice.
You can even picture this being in front of you,
Their heart connected to yours,
And you can feel their support,
Their kindness.
And as you breathe and connect to this being in front of you,
Infinite expression of love and compassion,
You realize that that love is also in you,
That the reason why you connect to them is that they are a mirror of your own heart,
Your own kindness,
Your own love,
Your own compassion.
So allow your breath now to come in and out of your heart,
As if you had a nostril there,
Or a little hole,
And as you breathe in and out of your radiant heart,
You are connecting to this being or beings in front of you and all around you,
Expanding your capacity to feel support,
Love,
Connection.
And let this field,
This energetic field of your heart expand so far,
Three feet around you even,
In all directions.
And let it pulse and radiate,
Emanate its beauty.
Let it be free to receive all the support that is available in this moment.
Let it connect to each heart that is also listening and doing this meditation with you right now,
So the collective heart is present.
And know that in this moment,
You can surrender any resistance to what you feel is lodging or attaching in your heart.
You are free to feel the support from all the hearts present.
And from this being or beings of infinite compassion that is right here,
Right now for you,
Holding you,
Supporting you,
Inviting you to trust just a little deeper.
So now,
With the next breath,
You're looking into your heart as you are held from all sides and from your feet in the earth.
And you're looking for something that has taken root in your heart,
But doesn't really belong there,
That you are tired of caring.
And something that you're ready to let go of.
And so,
With the eyes of compassion,
You look for this.
With the eyes of understanding,
You find something that feel it's time to love away,
To love and release.
So first,
Let's look at it.
And hold it close enough that you can look at it and recognize it as part of yourself.
Unite with it.
See that is perhaps an outdated version of yourself,
Something that you've outgrown or evolved out of.
And you can hold it even closer to your heart and say,
Thank you.
Thank you because in the moment,
It was the best thing I could do or all I knew.
And now it's time for us to part.
I recognize you as part of myself.
And with love and gratitude,
I release you.
I no longer need you.
And so,
Picture yourself perhaps putting it down on the ground or sand or water.
Or perhaps imagine it dissolving,
Disintegrating.
Like little bits of sand or dust particles.
Or perhaps for you,
It's like a skin that you are emerging from,
Like a cocoon.
You're coming out of it and looking at it.
And if you can,
You can say to it,
Thank you so much.
You are free.
I am free.
You've served me well.
And now we part.
And breathe now into the space that is created in your heart.
In a sense of relief,
Take a nice deep breath and recognize yourself.
With this new freedom.
Imagine the green in this heart center become brighter,
Deeper.
So it fills all your chest and your organs there and your shoulders and ribs.
And if you can,
You can put your hand there on your heart.
And you can say,
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
To yourself,
You can say your name as well.
I love you,
And I'm here for you.
You talk to yourself now.
I'm here for you,
And I'm here to love every single bit of you.
No matter what comes up.
And listen to yourself.
Listen perhaps for an answer from yourself.
And let whatever wants to emerge come up.
Tears,
Laughter,
Breath,
Coughing.
Anything that wants to release as well from your physical body.
It's all welcome.
And now there's so much love available in this moment that you could tap into it even deeper and say to yourself,
Hey,
If there's anyone out there that needs some of this love,
I'm going to send it away.
I'm going to throw it out there like a boomerang and let it touch every soul that needs it in this moment.
And allow it to come back to me.
And in doing so,
You feel the abundance of this love that is bountiful and endless.
Infinite.
And it's coming back to you.
Enlarging,
Expanding your capacity to give,
To share,
To love.
So allow yourself now as you keep breathing to feel the gratitude for this moment.
Gratitude for yourself,
For each and every one of us listening and practicing together.
For the unity in our hearts that reflect one another.
And send that gratitude all the way down to the earth for sustaining us.
For keeping us here.
Moving back to your heart.
And the gratitude goes now out there to the people that need it,
That will receive it or not,
It's not your problem.
Just send it and then get it back.
And get stronger now in your capacity,
Your ability to do this over and over again if needed.
And see it as something simple that you could do again and again whenever you feel like it.
Feel that strength in your heart.
So picture yourself in the future.
If you need to come back to this grounding,
To sensing the earth under your feet.
Notice that you know how to do that.
Picture yourself in the future needing to release something that you no longer want to carry with you.
And notice your capacity to know how to do that.
Picture yourself in the future wanting to share from the bounty,
From the abundant love in your heart.
Knowing that you don't need anything else other than your intention.
Realize you know how to do that.
So receiving is available.
Releasing is available.
Giving is available.
Gratitude is available.
It's all coming in and through you and out.
In and through you,
Out.
Like a wave of light coming in and out.
A loop.
You can visualize it.
And the center point of this loop is in your heart.
There you hold the key to even more love,
More compassion,
More release,
More receiving,
More giving,
More gratitude.
And if that doesn't bring a little joy into your life right now,
I don't know what would.
It's a free technology that you don't need anything but your attention to use.
All it takes is that you take this little bit of time,
Connect to it.
And so now for the grand finale,
Let's discover together that you can do this with your eyes open.
That it really doesn't take the retreat or isolation of any individual practice where you separate yourself from the world with some experience.
You can do it anytime,
Anywhere.
Gently opening your eyes.
Like curtains that you open slowly to let the sun come in.
And look around you.
And see if you can maintain that awareness of this power you hold in your heart.
Your capacity to receive support,
To release anything that you no longer want to carry.
To give.
Give it.
For there's so much of it.
The love in your heart.
And to feel grateful,
Thankful for these blessings,
For this awareness,
For this capacity for connection.
And see as you go through that loop,
Through that cycle,
You can stay in any area of it,
In any part of it that you want to experience more of.
Perhaps you want to stay in the receiving a little longer.
Connect to that.
Notice that you can do it with your eyes open.
And look around.
Picture yourself going places with this awareness.
Doing work and life and relationships with this awareness.
Nothing can take this away from you.
This is your power.
This is who you are.
And so let's intend to remember this moment and to do it again.
Just because you can.
And see what it feels like.
And see what life turns into.
If life doesn't become an expression of love in every moment,
I'd be curious to see what else it does.
Because that's really who you are.
So slowly now,
Let's come back fully,
Fully,
Fully.
Into the room that you're in and space around you.
If you haven't opened your eyes,
Open them now.
And thank yourself for this time and meditation.
