No One Is Broken

This talk seeks to bring you home to the heart, remind you that you are whole, and you are not in need of fixing because nothing is broken. We are a very pivotal point and it is crucial we do not get lost in the mind trying to fix what needs no fixing.

We are whole. We are Light We are love.

My heart really breaks every time I hear somebody using the words like I am broken.

You see,

We never have been broken and it's impossible to break us,

But it's in using words like those that I am broken,

That keeps your mind in dissociative states,

Constantly wondering what do I need to fix because I am broken.

But you see,

We have never been broken and we can never be broken.

I want you to reach for your heart beat and take a few minutes to find it.

Tell me,

How does your heart beat?

In its beating,

Does it remind you that you are alive?

In its beating,

Does it remind you that you have everything within you that you require?

The fact that your heart is beating is a proof that the divine is working within you.

So pay attention to your heart beat.

Connect to it.

How does your heart feel this morning,

This afternoon,

This day?

How does your heart feel?

Gently,

I want you to move your hand,

Your right hand,

To your belly and I want you to feel as a divine prana gets into your system.

As you blow in,

Breathing in,

Filling your lungs,

Filling your diaphragm,

Filling your core with air,

Counting to four,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four as you breathe in.

And then breathing out in a cyclic manner,

One,

Two,

Four again as you breathe out,

Keeping that rhythm,

Breathing in at four,

Breathing out at four,

Breathing in at four,

And breathing out at four.

As you continue the rest of the session,

I invite you to keep this cyclic breath.

Breathing in at four,

And breathing out at four.

As you listen to the words that come from my heart and pay attention with your heart because I want to remind you today that you have never been broken and nothing and nobody can ever break you.

Do you remember as a child,

A paraffin lamp,

A very beautiful,

Extraordinary device we used to use it a lot growing up.

And this paraffin lamp was in pieces,

At least it could dismantle it into pieces.

So when it was bought,

The glass was beautifully clean,

The wick is white,

And every time you switch on the lamp,

You put the fire on,

It would burn off the wick and it will release a bit of smoke.

And this smoke would seal and cover the glass inside of it with a layer of soot.

And every time you'd use this lamp,

This layer of soot would continue building and building to a point that the glass itself is so dark,

It's unable to emit any light from within it to light the room that you guys are in.

So we dismantle the glass,

We dismantle the pieces of this lamp,

We remove the glass,

We change the wick,

We clean the glass very gently because it used to be really brittle.

How it was made is really interesting,

Really brittle that if it could drop,

It falls and breaks.

So we will not break the glass.

We'd clean it nicely with soap and water,

Nicely,

Let it dry,

Put the pieces back together.

And when you light this lamp,

It is new,

It's beautiful as new.

There was not a single time in my childhood I remember us throwing away this lamp because it was never broken.

The glass was old and even sometimes the glass would crack a bit,

We'd still use it.

And it would really be beautiful.

Just like you,

My darling,

There is a layer of soot that has built up over a period of time that has blocked the beautiful clarity of your light from emitting outwards.

You see,

This layer of soot is not your essence,

That's not who you are.

So you don't need to fix that.

It's the layers of fears,

Experiences,

Beliefs that are clouding the brilliance of your light from ever shining,

But it's always inside.

We all carry this brilliant light,

All of us.

Not a flicker or a spark,

A blazing,

Magnificent fire of the divine that is waiting to be illuminated for the world to see.

You see,

When life happens,

Challenges arise,

We make mistakes,

Other people do too,

And they hurt us.

And the more these things are exposed to us,

The more we dim our light.

These experiences,

Just like the weak burning in the lamp,

Can sometimes create smokes,

Can sometimes create soot,

And sometimes cloud our vision.

And just like we don't throw away the lamp,

We don't discard ourselves,

Calling ourselves broken,

Calling ourselves named,

Saying we need fixing,

No,

My dear,

We don't need any form of fixing.

We just need to dismantle the layers,

Acknowledge the existence,

These fears,

These beliefs that are holding us back with gentleness,

With love,

And with care.

And we cleanse ourselves.

We not only forgive others for hurting us,

But importantly,

Forgive ourselves for this experience we've carried for so long,

Believing that it is us,

That it is not.

As we release these beliefs,

We realize that we've always been whole.

As I implore you this morning,

I implore you to listen to the whispers of your heart.

I welcome you to come down to your left hand where it's seated,

Just listening to the heartbeat as you continue breathing,

To the truth of your heart,

That you're not broken.

You are a work of art,

And life is not about being perfect,

Nobody ever has been.

It's about being whole.

It's about understanding that every experience,

Every fear,

Every tear has shaped you to being the best version of you,

Not in diminishing your light,

But in allowing you to blaze further,

Greater in ways you can never fathom in this minute.

So do not fear the darkness within you,

For darkness is merely absence of light.

And where there is darkness,

Even the tiniest of flicker can illuminate the entire space.

And you have the light within you,

My dear.

It's not a question of creating it,

But recognizing it,

Finding it.

It's a question of unveiling that which is already unapologetically shining inside of you.

Baby,

This light is a portal to the divine,

One that brings heaven here on earth.

Your light is a specific,

Special code,

A puzzle to the divine tapestry,

You know?

We are all called upon to light this brilliant light ablaze,

Especially at this time of our existence,

To remember that we each are a calculated plan,

That we are here,

Not by mistake.

You breathing in and out right now is not a mistake.

This heavenly light that shines within you is a reality that cannot be ignored.

It won't let you,

I promise.

And it doesn't require permission from anybody to shine.

It only requires you to unveil it.

I ask you,

Do you have the courage to let us see your light?

Do you have the courage to allow your light to shine?

Do you have the courage to live from your heart?

Remember,

You're safe,

Dear one.

You are safe today to be yourself.

You're safe to love yourself in ways that nobody can define.

You're safe to trust yourself,

Your strength.

You're safe to trust the divine.

You're safe to trust your journey.

Trust,

Dear one,

Is a solvent that dissolves the soot that keeps you glued in darkness.

Trust is the resilience that builds within you that keeps you understanding that you have the capacity to heal.

Trust your ability to remember who you are.

Trust that to awaken is but a realization that you have always carried the light within you.

Spin the light wheel alone.

Remove the soot,

Dear one.

Remove the masks and see the brilliance of who you are as you continue to breathe.

Feel the life force that fills your lungs.

Recognize it as the same force that ignites the stars and blooms the flowers.

Recognize that this is the form,

Recognize that this is the force that transforms the caterpillars into butterflies.

You,

Dear one,

Are the alchemist,

The maker of your reality.

You are the captain of your ship.

You,

Dear one,

Are the lighthouse in the middle of the storm,

Just like the lamp with a little bit of cleaning,

You can shine again.

Your light is needed,

My dear,

Now more than ever before.

So my beautiful soul,

Embrace your imperfection,

For they too are just who you are.

Let us honor the light and honor the journey and embrace every unfolding with a grateful heart.

Let us celebrate the incredible light within us,

For it is a divine unfolding in each of us.

You're not broken.

You've never been broken.

You are a masterpiece in the making.

The divine was never wrong in placing you here at this time.

Allow yourself the chance to shine.

Let your light shine and inspire all around you to do the same,

For that is our key responsibility as humans,

To shine and to light the way for others to shine too.
