Welcome to your daily invocation for liberation.
I invite you to take a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Close your eyes and bow your head as we settle in.
Ancestors,
Spirit guides,
Allies,
And relatives of the seen and unseen,
We ask that you join
us today in our daily prayer for freedom.
We ask that they who carry many names join us here and now,
Creator,
Source,
Great spirit,
Universe,
And all those names spoken in original tongues.
We ask for your guidance and protection along this journey towards liberation.
We welcome the guardians of this place,
The seven directions,
And all the elements that
make this life possible,
That give us breath and body,
Mind and spirit,
Community and environment.
You gaze towards the east,
Where the sun rises and life begins,
Where water flows and tobacco
exalts our prayers to the heavens.
We ask that you share your visionary spirit with us,
So that we may call in a new day
for ourselves and our descendants.

We gaze towards the south,
Where the warm winds of summer blow and cedar grows.
We ask the serpent spirit of the south to teach us how to shed and transmute that which
no longer serves us or the collective.

We gaze towards the west,
Where the sun sets and sage emerges from the earth.
We ask that you teach us to live in good character and that you show us the way beyond death.

We gaze towards the north,
Where our elders sit around the fire,
Sharing wisdom of the
winter season,
With the smell of sweet grass lifting our prayers for freedom.
We ask that you share your lessons with us,
So that we may make wise and responsible choices.

We gaze towards the center that holds the mystery of it all.
We welcome unknowing in the face of your guidance.
We ask that you hold us as we traverse the darkness back towards the light.

We gaze below to mother earth and we ask for forgiveness.
We pledge our love back to the great mother,
Thanking her for holding the lineage of our
bodies,
Knowing that our bodies are of her body.
We ask the earth to continue to offer us her womb,
So that we may be born anew.
Thank you mother earth for holding us in our path to liberation.
We gaze above to father sky,
A reminder of stability through all seasons,
That we will
always weather the storm together.
In gratitude for the lineage of our spirits and our souls,
We ask that you continue to
show us our capacity for expansion through the clouds.
Thank you father sky for holding us in our path to liberation.
We welcome the spirit of liberation for all peoples.
May I know freedom,
May you know freedom,
May we all know freedom.
May we return from the myth of separation to welcome the spirit of interconnection,
Of interdependence,
Of collective liberation in the now and forevermore.
May we honor that our personal freedom is an essential part in our path towards collective
liberation and make commitments to honor ourselves as stewards ushering in a new way of being.
We are our ancestors greatest prayer answered,
And the ancestors in training of our joyful
descendants.
May we always remember not to take more than we need and to give back more than we take,
So that the 21 generations that follow us live in the liberated abundance we know to
be here,
Accessible to us all.
