Welcome.
This is a short protection meditation for when you're facing a situation that scares you or you feel that you just need a little bit of psychological protection.
So finding yourself a comfortable position where you can be undisturbed for the next couple of minutes.
And bring your focus into your body.
If your thoughts are racing,
That's perfectly normal.
Take a deep breath in.
Follow the air into your belly and out.
And take one more breath in,
Allowing your awareness to follow the air from your nose into your belly.
Notice the rise and all the way out.
And if your thoughts wander,
Bringing them back to the breath,
Following the air coming into your body,
Noticing the rise of your belly and following the air coming out of your body.
And become aware of your body as a whole.
Notice its weight.
Notice the feeling within your body,
Whether there's any tension or tightness in your body,
And whether there's any areas of discomfort.
And breathing into the body one more time,
Trying to imagine yourself breathing in from your head all the way through your feet.
And breathing out any tension.
And just allowing your shoulders to relax and the whole body to soften.
And in your mind's eye,
Imagine a crystal dome.
This dome is very special.
You can see through it.
It's invisible to everyone else except to you.
And this dome surrounds you with safety and protection.
You feel so much comfort being inside this dome.
It is a crystal dome of protection.
Any negativity that's thrown at you simply hits the sides and washes off.
Nothing hurtful can reach you in here.
You are protected.
You are able to be yourself,
To act with courage and authenticity.
And this puts a thick layer of shielding around you from other people's hostility or negativity or criticism.
You are safe.
You are protected.
The crystal dome will not stop you from doing anything you need to do.
It will move with you,
Invisible,
Providing a beautiful layer of protection and safety everywhere you go.
You are safe.
You are protected.
So keeping this dome around,
You know,
Thinking yourself for taking this time for self-care and you can keep this crystal dome in place as long as you need to and remove it any time you like.
So preparing to go into your day with protection and safety.
When you're ready,
Bringing some gentle movement back into your body and slowly opening your eyes.
