My name is Amy McMillan,
And today I'm going to lead you through a pretty simple relaxation and guided meditation.
So find yourself a comfortable position,
And I like to close my eyes just to block out any distractions.
Once you're feeling relaxed,
Picture a box.
In the upper left-hand corner of the box,
Picture a 1.
When you see that 1,
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
Slowly tracing over to the upper right-hand corner of the box,
You see the 2.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,
Moving down to the lower right-hand corner of the box where you notice the 3.
Take a deep inhalation in and a deep exhalation out.
Now slowly tracing over to the lower left-hand corner of the box,
You see your 4.
Take a breath in and take a breath out.
Now tracing back up to the upper left-hand corner of your box,
Reuniting with your 1.
Take one long,
Last deep inhalation in and let it out.
Feeling completely relaxed,
You can open your eyes and come back into the room,
Knowing that you can take this sense of relaxation with you wherever you go.
