Welcome back,
Dear one,
To this space,
To this moment you are setting aside for you,
For this gentle journey inward.
Let's begin by creating stillness together,
Just taking the time to find your way into a position that is deeply comfortable for you,
One that allows your body to feel fully supported,
Comfortable and at ease,
Offering to your body this space of nurturing,
Of rest.
And for right here,
For right now,
There is nowhere else to be,
Just here,
Just this moment,
Settling in,
Relaxing.
I invite you to gently tune in to the rhythm of your breath,
The rise and fall of your chest,
Just becoming aware of this natural rhythm.
Breathing in through your mouth,
And breathing out through your mouth.
As you slowly breathe in,
Feel the air as it passes over your lips and across the space of your tongue,
Back into your throat and down into your lungs.
And as you breathe out,
Feel that warmer air moving through these spaces within you.
And out.
Your belly rising and falling with each cycle,
Just tuning in to the sensations of this intimate connection between your inner world and the world around you,
And breathing out.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to drop a little deeper into this moment,
Deeper into the quiet that's available here,
With every breath dropping further in to the deeper knowing that you carry.
This is where your deepest wisdom lives.
Notice your breath naturally slowing,
Your body naturally relaxing as you give yourself gentle permission to go inward.
Into your body,
This worthy vessel that carries you,
That sustains you,
That provides for you.
Beginning with the top of your head,
Allow waves of relaxation to move downward through your body,
Your forehead smoothing,
Your eyes softening and relaxing behind your lids,
Letting go of any tension in your jaw,
Your neck and shoulders melting,
Letting go,
And your arms heavy,
Loose and relaxed.
Just the gentle rising and falling of your chest.
Allow your belly to be soft,
Your back to be supported,
Your hips releasing,
Your legs comfortable,
Heavy,
Loose and relaxed,
And your feet.
From this place of deep relaxation,
I invite you to gently place your hands wherever feels most comforting to you,
Perhaps on your heart,
Or on your belly,
Or simply resting near your lap.
Continue breathing,
And begin to feel the quiet intelligence of your body.
This magnificent body that does so much for you every day,
Whether you acknowledge it or not,
That offers you breath,
And movement,
And sensation.
Tune in to the wisdom that your body has to offer,
Not in words,
But in action.
But in sensations,
In deep knowing,
And in truth.
Tune in to the information that it offers freely,
All day,
Every day,
Just waiting for you to receive it.
There is a part of you that always knows exactly what you need,
That has been offering guidance through all of your life's transitions.
A part of you that holds all the answers you've ever been seeking,
Both inside and outside of yourself.
This is your inner wisdom,
Your intuitive knowing,
Your deepest truth.
Breathing gently,
Tune in to the deepest places within you,
Dropping deeper into the rise and fall of your chest and your belly,
Feeling the expansion and the release.
From this place,
Allow yourself to imagine descending into a beautiful inner landscape.
Perhaps it's a quiet forest grove,
Or a peaceful meadow,
Or a quiet beach,
Waves gently lapping at the shore.
Whatever arises for you within this space is perfect.
Simply allow yourself to be here,
To settle here.
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
In this inner sanctuary,
You are completely safe.
You are completely held,
Completely loved.
You are completely free to be exactly who you are.
In this quiet space,
Without any expectation or any need,
Allow this question to gently settle within you.
What does my heart most want me to know right now?
Don't search for the answer.
Simply listen.
Allowing whatever wants to emerge to arise naturally.
Trusting this wisdom that lives within you.
Gently take notice of how any knowing feels in your body,
Where you sense it,
How it wants to be received,
What it's offering to you,
How it wants to lovingly and capably guide you.
Your inner wisdom has never left you.
It has always been here.
And it is found when we simply slow down enough to tune in,
To listen,
To trust,
To remember.
As you continue breathing within this sacred inner space,
I invite you to offer gratitude to yourself for setting aside this time,
For honoring your need to go deeper,
For trusting in the beautiful wisdom that lives within you,
For offering to yourself this gift of slowing down and receiving that which is always here for you.
You have everything you need.
You always have and you always will.
Now breathe in trust and breathe out any doubt.
Feeling yourself being supported by the infinite intelligence that lives within the very selves of your body.
With every in-breath offering love to this body and all its wisdom,
And with every exhale releasing anything that no longer serves.
And out.
As we slowly begin to prepare to return from this inner journey,
Take a moment here to gently gather any insights,
Any feelings,
Any knowing that wants to come with you.
Relaxing into the truth that these cannot be lost,
For they live within you.
Know also,
Dear one,
That you can return to this inner sanctuary any time you desire.
Simply by slowing down,
Tuning in,
And listening to that which is always available within you.
This wisdom that abides in you with every breath of your existence.
As you begin to return to the world around you,
I invite you to embrace curiosity.
To wonder about how your inner wisdom might want to begin to express itself more fully in your life.
And to wonder about what small moments of stillness could become new doorways to this deep place of knowing.
When you're ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Perhaps stretch gently.
Feeling yourself returning to the surface of your awareness,
And if they have been closed,
To gently open your eyes.
I encourage you to carry this inner knowing with you,
Trusting in the wisdom that guides you.
And knowing that all the answers you seek are alive within you.
Thank you for sharing this practice with me.
I look forward to continuing,
And may you be blessed ever,
Beautiful friend.
