Welcome to this moment of mindful pause in your day.

I invite you to settle into a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to be fully supported.

For this moment,

This particular one,

Know that there is nowhere else you need to be,

Nothing else you need to do.

For right here,

Right now,

This moment,

Nowhere else to be.

Just here,

Just for now.

Let's begin by acknowledging the transition you're making,

From the world of deadlines,

Meetings,

And constant connectivity,

To this moment,

This space of presence and awareness.

Let's tune into that.

Simply breathe.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

And now exhale slowly through your mouth,

Beginning to release any tension you've been carrying.

Just let it go.

And one more time,

A deep inhale through your nose,

And a gentle exhale,

Sighing it out,

Releasing,

Letting go.

Now returning to your natural breathing rhythm,

Notice the sensation of air as it enters and leaves your body.

The cool feeling as you breathe in,

And the warmth as you breathe out.

I invite you to bring your attention to the points where your body connects with the surface supporting you.

Feel the weight of your body being held.

In this moment,

You don't need to hold yourself up or move forward.

You can simply be.

In our workday landscape of meetings and technology and achievement,

We often look outward for solutions,

For validation,

For direction.

But in this practice,

We turn inward to the wellspring of wisdom and strength that is always here,

That always resides within you.

I invite you to gently place one hand on your abdomen,

Just below your belly button.

This area is often called the body's center of gravity,

Your physical core.

As you breathe naturally here,

Feel that subtle movement beneath your palm.

Breathe in,

And out,

Releasing,

Letting go.

And with each of these breaths,

Imagine drawing energy and stability from this core,

This same power center that helps you stand,

That helps you move,

That helps you physically navigate the world,

Is also a source of inner strength and clarity.

Breathing in,

Drawing strength from your center.

Breathing out,

Allowing that strength to flow throughout your body.

Now bring your awareness to your mind.

Without judgment,

Simply notice the thoughts that arise.

In your day,

Your brilliant mind is constantly solving problems,

Constantly analyzing data,

Constantly anticipating needs.

Just breathe.

In this moment,

Allow your mind to rest in the simple awareness that there are no problems to solve.

Not in this moment.

There are no decisions to make.

There is just being.

For right here,

Right now,

Nowhere else to be,

Nothing else to do,

Just here,

In this moment.

Feel the spaciousness that emerges when you simply step back from the constant momentum of doing into the space of being.

In this space lies your innate wisdom.

In this space is your deepest knowing,

A knowing that isn't calculated or forced.

In this space,

There is a knowing which emerges naturally when simply given room.

Throughout this series,

We'll explore practices to help you navigate the demands of your professional life from a place of centeredness rather than reactivity.

Today,

We simply recognize that this power that already exists within you is available at any time,

That this power within you is a power that no external circumstance can diminish.

Breathing in,

As we prepare to close this meditation,

I invite you to set an intention to carry forward with you an awareness of your inner strength.

As you gently return to your day,

Ground the feeling of this space within you.

Your breath is your map.

Breathe in.

Peace.

Visualize yourself moving gently into the next part of your day from this space,

This centered place within you,

This centered place that is always available to you.

When you're ready,

Take your deepest breath in and gently wiggle your fingers and toes as you sigh it out.

Stretch your arms,

Your legs,

Your back if that feels good to you.

And if you haven't already,

Slowly open your eyes.

Remember that this inner resource is always available to you,

Regardless of anything external.

At any moment,

You can return to the centered awareness within you.

Thank you for sharing this practice with me today,

And I look forward to continuing this journey with you.

Blessings,

Friend.

Soothing reminder to not lose myself in my challenging work environment. It's what I do, not who I am, and when I remember who I am, I'm better at what I do. Thank you 🙏
