The Wheel Turns by Amanda Anderson.
To all in loss and those who grieve.
Some words to share with you.
Our time on earth is finite.
The job we come to do.
We're given time.
Who knows how long?
Our choice is how we live.
Do we take?
Do we help?
Do we try to give?
Our life an open book for sure.
To write in glorious tales of contribution and support when structure maybe fails.
We never know from day to day who travels with us on.
One day we are holding court.
The next someone is gone.
This is the way and all we know is when we lose that soul we find it inconceivable we'll ever then feel whole.
But just be gentle with yourself.
Accepting times have changed.
You're caught up in a milestone now.
Things have rearranged.
You must know this.
You will come through.
You'll find a smile again.
There's not a rulebook or timescale but it's not if but when.
Don't believe that person's gone.
They've only left this space.
If you close your now sad eyes you still will see their face.
It's really tough.
I know this well.
We humans though are strong.
Let your honest feelings flow.
To you these do belong.
Time may not heal but you will find a new way then to be.
But just for now emotions reign.
And welcome stormy sea.
Talk if words are helpful.
Cry when tears flow.
But never lose the sight that onwards you will surely go.
We don't display expiry date so when our moment shows there's shock,
Despair to loved ones left.
This is how it goes.
This time will pass.
The wheel turns.
You'll come back to your flow.
Our loved ones do not leave our heart.
They never ever go.
