Welcome to your replenishing micro break.
Settling into a comfortable position,
Either sitting upright or lying down for a deeper rest.
Closing down your eyes and taking a deep breath in and a long exhale out.
Settling in to the space and really honoring yourself for choosing to listen to this meditation,
To slow down and to give yourself the space to recharge,
To recalibrate.
There are so many moving parts happening out there in the world,
Wanting your attention,
Needing your action.
Know that there is nothing you need to do in this space other than listen to my voice.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
So let's start by imagining yourself closing down your laptop or placing a sheet over your workstation.
Blocking out all the to-do's and the rest of today's schedule and settling in right here.
With all of the external noise in the world,
You can lose parts of yourself.
Parts of your energy can be pushed out into the world,
Often unconsciously and sometimes without your permission.
In this space you are going to be drawing the energy back into your body and getting you back in control of your day.
So as you breathe in,
Imagine the energy that you have been expending,
Roaring back into your body.
And as you breathe out,
You're breathing out this stale energy of the sitting,
Of the concentrating,
Of all the effort.
Just breathing out all of the stagnancy of the day.
And you are breathing back in your own energy,
Nourishing yourself.
Feeling the energy coming back into your body,
Drawing it back like a magnet.
You are replenishing,
You are refueling,
You are recuperating and you're recovering.
All of the energy drawing back into the body,
Its natural place,
Its natural state.
You can sense the body warming ever so slightly as your energy is returned home to you,
As the cells are nourished.
And you are coming back home to yourself here in this moment.
And as you continue to feel this energy flooding back in,
Know that you are doing a good job.
You are doing enough.
You are enough.
You are incredibly capable and you have so got this.
And with your body feeling recharged,
Your life force returned,
You now have more control.
You are replenished and re-energized.
And from this calm and centered place,
You can set your intention for the rest of your day.
How is it that you want to feel?
Do you want to feel calm,
Present or confident?
And with the intention of your choice firmly in your heart and knowing that you are so enough,
That you have so got this,
Start to bring your awareness back into the room.
Wriggling your fingers and your toes,
Taking a deep breath in and out.
And whenever you're ready,
Gently opening up your eyes.
