Come into a butterfly position with the soles of the feet together.
Sit tall.
Extending the spine.
By lengthening the back of the neck.
Tuck the chin in slightly.
Feel.
The spine.
From the tailbone all the way to the back of the neck.
As you take a deep breath in.
You the link.
And then exhale to fold forwards.
Into butterfly pose.
This can be your I would fold.
It doesn't have to be your deepest thought.
It should be one you're able to hold comfortably for a few minutes.
Today we're working with the six lower body meridians to release stagnation in the hips.
And to help energy flow more freely through the body.
Is particularly good if you have sex.
Prolonged periods of time.
Or if you would like to get back into.
Gentle form of movement.
In your butterfly pose,
Think about inhaling to lengthen the spine again.
And exhaling to perhaps fold a tiny bit deeper.
Observing the Grace.
Observing the sensations within the minds,
Within the body.
And my tingle.
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Any tightness and any tension.
I'll let you know when it's time to move to our next pose.
Enjoy the food and butterflies.
On your next inhale,
Come out of the pose,
Take the knees together,
Hands behind you.
Swipe the legs from side to side.
Windshield wipers.
And then take the left leg behind you.
Right shin parallel to the front of the mat.
Maybe your knees out to the side a little.
Setting yourself up comfortably.
You can grab a pillow.
Or folded blanket to settle onto here.
This is DeerPoos.
Just working deep into the hips.
We're staying sitting quite upright here.
Make any small adjustments.
To the lakes,
To the possessions.
So that you can sense.
And stillness.
By moving the hips through a different range of motion.
We can release any pill-up energy stagnation there.
Encourage the energy to continue flowing through the body.
Helping to alleviate any tightness and tension,
Any discomfort.
Also helps to release any emotions.
According to tradition.
We store in our heads.
Particularly the emotions of anger.
With each inhale.
Lengthen.
And withy Jake's heel.
Lay cool.
Of your expectations of yourself.
Today.
Be grateful you've decided to step onto your yoga mat.
Our next pose will be half butterfly.
I'll let you know when we're ready to move there.
Telling.
Focus on the breath.
Slowly extend your left leg out to the side as a diagonal.
Maybe the right foot comes in to touch the left thigh.
And folding forwards over.
Their right foot.
You can place a rolled up blanket or pillow under your left knee.
If that helps you feel a little more comfortable.
Having a little bend in that knee can help.
To make a post.
Or accessible.
To free in practice.
Again,
As we fold forwards,
We're thinking about inhaling.
Lengthening the spine.
It's hearing.
Just move ever so softly.
Ever so slightly deeper into the pose.
Into your own version of the fold.
Notice where you're feeling this posture.
Notice where the sensation is most intense for you.
And think about sending your breath there.
Imagine the breath unraveling.
Any discomfort,
Any kindness.
Leaving the energy free to flow.
Turning to a more healthy.
More balanced.
Possession.
Enjoy this stretch.
Enjoy your Yin-Yang growth.
Very carefully come out of the pose.
And then prepare for deer on the opposite side.
With the left leg at the front.
The right leg behind you.
Notice if their state feels completely different.
Perhaps it's more balanced.
Perhaps is more challenging to sit in a balanced position.
Either way is absolutely fine.
Again,
Use any props you need under your knee.
Which is set on to make this pose more comfortable for you.
Yanyuga helps us to see.
Differences between the body,
Both sides of the body.
To see that we're not in fact symmetrical.
We have imbalances,
Tightness.
Attention.
More flexibility,
More movement.
Beauty for you guys.
It teaches us to accept that.
And not to judge.
So as you inhale here you're lengthening the spine.
And we're exhaling to let go of any judgments.
Letting go of any expectations.
Of how flexible we should be.
Where we need to be.
Just accepting where we are today on our yoga journey.
With grace and with a smile.
You can take a breath in.
As you exhale,
Begin to think about moving.
Don't start to move,
Just chase.
Just take your time.
And extend the right leg when you're ready.
Bringing the left leg in to a half butterfly.
Again you can place your robed up blanket under your right knee.
Or you can set up onto a pedal.
Whatever feels nicest for you.
And aim the fold forwards.
Over the bent left leg.
If you are able to come all the way down to the floor.
And please feel free to do so.
If that's not within your practice.
And come to your forward fold.
Lengthening the spine with every inhale.
With every exhale.
Scanning through the body and rating goals.
Just a little bit more.
You might find that as you stay in the pose,
You feel that your body can move a little bit further.
So pushing.
You can move into the pose a little deeper if that feels okay for you.
If it doesn't.
.
.
Or judgements.
Just allow yourself to be.
Exactly where you are.
And to enjoy the practice.
Exactly as it is today.
Always moving with the grace.
And using the breath to guide you and your poses.
To let you know when you can move.
When you move too far.
And trusting.
Trusting the breath will guide you.
Take a few deep breaths here.
Flowing the exhales down.
Before we begin to move to Dragonfly.
By extending both legs out diagonally.
Into a V shape.
Might be nice to set up onto a blanket or block or a pillow here.
To help propel this tilt forwards.
Folding forwards doesn't work for you.
Please stay seated upright.
And just allow your legs to relax.
Allow the toys.
The ankles.
Have seen.
The quadriceps and the hamstrings.
Allow them to release any tension.
To let go.
To become soft.
You don't need to hold on here.
You can let go.
By letting go we create more balance.
Release.
On the mat and off the mat.
This pose is about getting your head to the floor.
It's about moving softly.
When you're ready,
Come to lay down on your back.
Of relaxation.
In your leg.
Place your hands on your stomach.
And stay here as long.
As you like.
