What I See In Your Eyes | Rumi Poem
by Wood
This poem by Rumi hints at a quiet longing to move beyond the self. It carries a gentle openness, a willingness to let go of control, and in that stillness, a deeper clarity begins to grow. Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi, popularly known as "Rumi", is a 13th-century Sufi poet. Today, he is recognised as one of the greatest poets who ever lived, due in part to how his words seem to speak to the Divine. Photo by Gregor Zabret. Translation by Coleman Barks.
