Gansu Station

My piece Gansu Station is based on the ratios inherent in the octahedron, which appear in nature frequently, often as metal ions in crystal structures. The violin melody represents the radius length of the octahedron’s circumscribing sphere. The cello represents the octahedron's edge length. Namaste!
