Find a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so,
Or simply soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your belly expand,
And exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Let's do that again.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air,
And exhale slowly through your mouth,
Letting go of any stress or worries.
As thoughts arise in your mind,
Simply acknowledge them without judgement,
And gently bring your focus back to your breath.
Each inhale brings a sense of calm,
And each exhale releases any tension or restlessness.
Allow yourself to fully experience this moment of stillness and peace.
Remember that you have the power to anchor yourself in the present moment whenever your mind starts to wander.
Take one final deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Gently open your eyes.
