Based out of New York City, Dr. Bhagat’s meditation practice was initially guided by his parents & is rooted in the Vipassana & Zen-Thich Nhat Hanh tradition. He is professionally trained as a mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) teacher from Univ. of Massachusetts & Brown University, an MBSR teacher trainer, and a teacher in training at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies (BCBS). Dr. Bhagat embodies a deep commitment towards teaching science based, integrative mindfulness to help create conditions for a happier, fulfilling & meaningful life for his participants.
