Diamonds Keep On Shining

Diamonds in the Rough is a song about moving through pain, loss and profound change while finding the strength to keep loving and shining. Beneath the story is the experience of losing a friend to suicide — something that brought grief, helplessness and a deeper understanding of how much people can carry beneath the surface.

The song became part of my own journey of healing, self-discovery and learning to live from a place of greater truth and freedom. It explores the courage to show our pain, question the thoughts and expectations that keep us trapped, and reconnect with the deeper part of ourselves.
