Loving Those People - Music For The Hero’s Journey

Loving Those People is a song about finding my way back to myself.
For a long time, I lost touch with who I was. I learned to see myself through other people’s pain and expectations, and somewhere along the way I forgot how to listen to what I really felt.
Writing this song became part of my journey of self-discovery, healing from the past and learning to see people with more compassion. I began to understand that the people who hurt us are often carrying their own hurts, and that forgiveness can help us let go without needing to blame.
The song is ultimately about choosing love, even when it’s difficult, and finding the courage to turn your light back on.
I hope it offers something to anyone experiencing emotional healing, self-discovery, forgiveness or letting go of old pain. Maybe it can be a reminder that you don’t have to become someone you’re not, and that there is always a way back to yourself.
