Worksheet
This worksheet utilizes drama therapy and role play techniques to help clients explore both their inner and outer selves—parts they show and parts they keep hidden. Through creative journaling and dialogue, they’ll gain insight into their strengths, boundaries, and the relationship between these aspects of themselves.

Clients can begin by filling out prompts about their Outer Self—the part they show to others—then switch roles and answer as their Inner Self. Use optional drawing exercises and perspective shifts, like changing one’s physical position, to deepen the experience. Conclude with a written dialogue between the two selves to explore where they agree, disagree, and how they can support each other.
This worksheet is ideal for therapy clients or groups interested in drama therapy, self-reflection, or creative arts-based exploration—especially beneficial for anyone wanting to better understand their boundaries, needs, and authenticity.
