Soham Shivoham Mantra - I am that. I am pure consciousness

One of the primary mantras of the Shaivism school of Hinduism is the Soham Shivoham mantra. It is thought that meditating on the mantra Soham Shivoham will help the yogi realize his true self and higher self.

The usual translation of this mantra is "I am That, I am pure consciousness." Shivoham means "I am Shiva," whereas soham means "I am that very person" in Sanskrit. One of the major Hinduism sects, Shaivism, worships Lord Shiva.
