I am light meditation.
Find a comfortable spot laying flat on your back with a pillow under your knees if this makes it more comfortable.
Start by adjusting your shoulders rolling them back and down.
Shifting your hips to find a comfortable position.
Keeping a slight bend in your knees.
Allow yourself to relax and melt into the floor inviting a feeling of peace and calm.
Sinking further and further into the ground.
Take a deep full belly breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Continue to breathe deeply in through the nose and out through the mouth.
As you breathe in,
Breathe in relaxation and calm and as you breathe out,
Breathe out any stress or tension.
Feel your body melt and your mind relax.
Now imagine a white light above your head.
Your in-breath draws the light closer and closer and your out-breath releases any tension or stress.
With the next deep breath in,
Imagine the light streaming from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.
Your whole body is radiating with white light.
Continue to deep inhale through the nose and long exhale through the mouth.
In your mind repeat after me.
I am light.
I radiate healing light.
I am light.
I give myself permission to shine.
I am the light.
With each in-breath your body illuminates with white light.
Now on the out-breath light expands out,
Expanding,
Expanding into the world.
In your mind repeat after me.
I am light.
I am the light.
I shine my inner light out into the world.
I am light.
I am healing light.
I shine my healing light out into the world.
Feel this white light radiating,
Expanding,
Encompassing,
Healing.
Slowly let your breath return to a normal rhythm.
Tune into your feeling of calm and peace.
Let this sweep your entire being.
You are light.
You radiate light.
Shine your light onto the world.
Bring your attention to your toes and fingers,
Gently wiggling and moving them.
Come back to this present moment and when you are ready you can open your eyes.
