A Message For You From Spirit: Take Back Your Personal Power
In this timeless, collective reading we are reminded about the fact that sometimes we give away our personal power to our loved ones, even without meaning to. They may have good ideas and their hearts are in the right place, but it's time for you to make your own decisions! That personal power is worth its weight in gold, and you have a lot to look forward to on your personal path to freedom.

Hello and welcome to this collective reading with Oracle cards.
My name is Simone and I will be your guide today as we embark on the journey of self discovery using Tarot and Oracle.
The first card that we drew today is the Guardian Angel card from the Angels and Ancestors deck and this is a beautifully dark blue card with a white feather on it which reminds us that we are not alone.
The Guardian Angel is the one that sends you signs and reminders and they will remind you that they are close by and remember that all of your guides are working hard to take care of you,
To guide you,
And to help you along your path.
You're never alone and they're always with you.
The white feather is known as the Guardian Angel's business card.
Whenever you see a white feather in your day-to-day life or whenever this card comes up in a reading for you like it did today,
It's a reminder that your spirit guide team and your loved ones and your ancestors and your Guardian Angels are particularly close by.
They are with you in this situation and they are helping you divinely,
Divine intervention,
To help you to achieve what it is that you need to achieve in this lifetime.
Everyone has their Guardian Angel and this is a Guardian Angel that accompanies you through all of your lifetimes including this one and this guide is there to help and support you so if you ever do need help or support all you have to do is ask and it will come and then surrender a little bit to the process of what it is they have in store for you.
The next card that comes in for our reading is the library card and it says take control of your own narrative.
Somebody around you at this time is intentionally or not intentionally making some decisions for you.
Perhaps it's a person that you really respect and so you want to please them.
This card is a reminder that it's way,
Way,
Way more important to push back and to not please the other person to say this is what I want and this is what I need and although it's tempting to allow them to make the decisions in your life because then that means you're not responsible and that means that you can kind of relax.
Giving your somebody else over you means you no longer have that power and that power is precisely the thing that propels you forward in your life.
You are the one who needs to pick up the pen and write the story of your life releasing a little bit of that need to please others and that need to allow others to sort of make decisions for you based on even their small little opinions of your everyday actions.
The three tarot cards that I also drew for this reading bring a very interesting perspective and very seriously highlight the library card.
The Knight of Swords talks to us about a person who is a little bit overbearing.
Now this could mean that you are the type of person who can speak very authoritatively or it could mean that there's somebody in your life who's speaking for you,
Who's making certain decisions for you even if they seem like they're doing it for your own good.
This Knight of Swords has taken too much control over your life and there's a big decision in front of you and this person needs to know that you're capable of handling these things in your life,
That you are capable of making those decisions and that although you respect and love them this is a decision that you need to make.
As well as being a person who has strong opinions they are knowledgeable,
They are a logical person and they don't mean to be kind of controlling you as it's shown in a library card like it's shown as you're being like sort of moved around like a puppet and they don't mean to do this in a bad way but they are being somebody who has taken too many of the decisions and the importance is now for you to reabsorb that personal power and that ability to make decisions because it's always been there with you.
You have that ability to make decisions but it's just a matter of trusting yourself and allowing that person to relinquish a little bit of what their desires are for you.
They make these decisions and they urge you to make decisions based on the feeling of wanting to keep everything safe and wanting to keep everything good but they are in a situation where they've taken too much control of your life and it's time for you to relinquish the need to be taken care of and step into the spotlight of being able to write out your own narrative of life.
The Ten of Wands talks to us about the fact that you've been putting in a lot of effort in your life right now.
The effort is like it's becoming a burden and it's becoming really heavy and this is kind of due to the fact that you were trying to please other people and so you've taken on a lot.
You've taken on a lot that doesn't belong to you and it's becoming a lot to carry.
It's becoming very heavy and so this card reminds us of the feeling of that heaviness and it reminds us of the necessity to release and to let some of those sticks fall down and fall away.
The Four of Cups comes in now to tell us about the importance of going inward,
Taking time to reflect.
We don't always do that in our busy society,
In our busy days.
We go from one activity to the next without much of a pause so this card really says hey it's time to create a little bit of space in time.
Time and space to reflect and that's something as simple as let's say you're cooking dinner.
You finish cooking dinner and you decide to take a five-minute break where you just listen to some birds or stare at a wall or close your eyes for five minutes before you eat the dinner.
That's as easy as that.
This is a common practice that you can do every single day between activities.
Reset your nervous system.
Check in with yourself.
Go inward and feel what it is you're feeling.
We don't intentionally do this but we do often push our feelings down or to the side because we do have so many demands as we've seen with the Ten of Wands on our daily lives.
The final card in this reading is from the Sacred Cycles deck.
This is the Red Tent card and this really highlights the importance of taking out space and time for yourself.
I will read a little bit from this book here.
A red tent is an ancient ritual space deeply rooted in traditional cultures respect and reverence for the human body and its connection to earthly rhythms.
Also called moon lodges or menstrual huts,
These structures all offered a retreat for those experiencing their cyclical bleed,
Creating a place for rest,
A pause from daily obligations,
And an opportunity to connect with others in the community.
That's what you're being called to do today.
Step away.
Step into a space where you feel safe,
Where you feel like you can relax.
This is incredibly important that you create these spaces in your life even if they're not huge things.
It doesn't have to be that big.
It just needs to be a little bit of dropping those heavy sticks from the Ten of Wands and letting them fall away.
Letting them fall away for just five or ten minutes while you stare at the wall or do a quick meditation.
Thank you so much for listening today to this collective reading.
