I welcome you to this meditation.
I am your guide Saqib and today we will be releasing stress from our body through the practice of transforming our energy state.
For all of us,
There have been times in our life when we have felt a state of peace,
Calm and relaxation.
What if we can switch to the energy of that moment at will?
Let's try that out.
I will now request you to sit in a comfortable position with your back straight but relaxed at the same time.
Now gradually close your eyes.
Be aware of your surroundings and the space in which you are right now.
Feel the air touching your skin.
Check the smell in the air.
Feel the weight of your body.
And listen to the sounds around you.
Now let's first activate our heart center with the practice of breathing.
I will now request you to place one or both of your hands at the center of your chest.
And now breathe in and out of your heart center.
As you breathe in,
Feel the air entering your heart center where your hands are placed.
And as you breathe out,
Feel any tension,
Stress or discomfort getting released and your body getting relaxed.
Let's begin.
Take in a long deep breath.
Feel your heart filling with air.
And exhale.
Continue breathing in and out of your heart center for some time.
Take at least three more deep cleansing breaths in and out of your heart center and feel your body relaxing with each breath.
And crossing out again.
You can now place your hands back to their original position.
Now think of a time in your life when you felt a state of calmness or a deep sense of peace within you.
Was it a time when you experienced love?
Or was it a time when you were in nature?
Or was it a time when you were simply meditating and were connected to the universe or God or whatever you believe in?
Visualize each and every detail of that situation.
Imagine that there is a knob near your hand which you can rotate and you can increase the brightness and color of this situation that you are visualizing.
So go ahead,
Rotate that knob and increase the color and brightness and make this situation more realistic.
Let's bring in our other senses as well.
Were there any sounds in that situation?
Sounds of nature or sounds of someone saying words of love?
Listen to those sounds.
Was there a sense of touch in that situation?
Was there someone hugging you?
Or were you walking barefooted on the grass?
Or was the cool breeze gently caressing your skin?
Feel that sense of touch in your body.
Now we will bring the energy of that situation into your body right now.
So feel that relaxation,
Calm and peace that you were feeling at that time and feel it now in your mind and body.
Let's one by one transfer that energy to each and every part of your body.
So bring your awareness to the top of your head and feel the top of your head relaxing.
And now bring your awareness to your forehead and feel your forehead relaxing.
And now bring your awareness to your face and feel your face relaxing.
Bring your awareness to your neck and feel your neck relaxing.
Place your awareness on your shoulders now and feel your shoulders relaxing.
Bring your awareness to your chest and feel your chest relaxing.
Bring your awareness to your arms and hands and feel your arms and hands relaxing.
Place your awareness on your abdomen and feel your abdomen relaxing.
Place your awareness on your pelvis and feel your pelvis relaxing.
Place your awareness on your legs and feel your legs relaxing.
And finally place your awareness on your feet and feel your feet relaxing.
You can now bring your awareness back to your immediate surroundings.
Imagine the space that you are in right now.
Feel the air touching your skin.
Feel the smell in the air.
Feel the weight of your body and listen to the sounds around you.
Now wiggle your toes and move your fingers and gradually come out of the meditation.
You are now calm,
Peaceful and relaxed.
