Soft Lapping Water & Distant Singing birds
by Ryan Garner
The reservoir was largely silent on this day, with very little sound except the water lapping against the banking. A gentle breeze occasionally sweeps through, providing movement and motion to the water bed. In the distance, the birds can be heard chirping and singing away to themselves. I particularly loved the slurping, bubbling, and swishing sounds that were being created here & had to stop to tune in and record them for a moment. The photo is of the Dovestone reservoir where which was recorded with high-quality audio equipment. Headphones are recommended for the best experience.
