City Rain & Ambience

I have a friend who recently moved from the city after spending his entire life growing up there. He loved the peace and quiet of the countryside, but often found it hard to sleep without the general city ambience in the background he had become so used to.

So, to remedy this for him, I recorded some ambiance and light rain in a location in the city that wasn't too overwhelmingly noisy. He has found it really helpful in getting him to sleep better, so I thought I would share it here too as it may be of some benefit to others.

He seemed to really miss the hiss of cars passing by his window, so I was trying to really focus on capturing that sound in a way that wasn't too intrusive and aggressive.
