Taking your seat and settling into this present moment.

Connecting with the breath.

Feeling the body breathe itself.

Locating where it's easiest to feel the physical sensations of the body breathing in this moment.

And simply allowing the attention to rest there.

Following the inhalation and the exhalation over and over again.

You might also offer yourself some compassionate touch as a reminder that we are paying attention to our experience in this moment but paying attention with the sense of kindness and compassion.

And now taking a couple more deep and deliberate breaths to nourish the body.

As we come to the end of this brief practice knowing that the breath and the body is always available as an anchor at any time.

And when you feel ready allowing the eyes to open and reconnecting with your day.
