I've learned again and again and again that taking a few minutes out of the middle of your day to rest and relax and breathe has the potential to turn your day around and create a beautiful rest of your day.
Take a few deep breaths with me right now.
In through the nose and out through the mouth In through the nose and out through the mouth Notice how your body feels sitting,
Standing,
Lying down Feel any places of warmth or coldness in your body Any tingling,
Any comfort,
Any discomfort Acknowledge it all and let it be exactly as it is And now turn inward and note how you're feeling if you're feeling happy,
Sad,
Angry,
Shameful,
Guilty,
Resentful,
Joyous,
Or grateful However it is you're feeling,
Acknowledge it,
Note it,
Welcome it in Say to yourself,
I honor and accept how I'm feeling right now Now I want you to inhale on a count of four and exhale on a count of six This is going to send deep relaxing signals of rest to your brain and nervous system and bring you from perhaps a place of agitation or anxiety into a place of deeper stillness Take the next couple minutes to do it Music You're doing great!
