Hi,
It's Robin Tucker.
Thank you so much for deciding to close out your day with me,
Let it all go,
And get ready for sleep.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Begin to let go and relax.
Your scalp relaxes and lets go,
Your forehead,
Your eyebrows,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
The muscles around your eyes,
Your cheekbones,
Your jaw and your tongue,
Your neck and throat relax,
And if there's any tension in your shoulders,
Let it go now.
This relaxed feeling continues through your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Through your biceps and triceps,
Through your elbows,
Into your forearms,
Wrists and hands,
And out your fingertips.
Your front body relaxes,
Clavicle area,
Ribs,
Pecs,
Abs,
Your stomach relaxes,
Your abdomen,
All the muscles in your pelvic floor and your genitals,
Your glutes relax,
Your upper and lower back relaxes,
And your spine lengthens and widens.
Your thighs relax,
Your hamstrings,
Your knees,
Calves,
Ankles,
And feet relax,
And this relaxed energy flows right out of your toes.
And now take a moment to acknowledge how you're feeling right now.
Whatever kind of day it's been for you,
However you're feeling as a result of the experiences that you live today,
Take a deep breath in and a long,
Slow exhale as you honor it and let it go.
I'm sure there's stuff that you have to do tomorrow that's hanging around in your head.
If you're anything like me,
You're going to try and plan your day tomorrow before you go to bed tonight.
So I want you to know that a great and deep night's sleep is going to set you up to deal with tomorrow better than if you stayed up all night planning it tonight.
So give yourself permission to let go and go to sleep,
Trusting that sleeping is actually the best thing you can do to be awake and alert and prepared for tomorrow.
Your brain is designed to race and race,
Repeating the thoughts and the problems until it comes to a solution.
And this was really vital for our survival when we needed it,
But we don't need it anymore.
You have calendars and resources that you can use for tomorrow.
So now you can go to sleep and relax.
So let go of all your emotions.
Everything in your body lifts and relaxes and lets go.
You are in complete relaxation right now.
And now I want you to think of five things that you can express gratitude for today.
People,
Places,
Things,
Experiences,
Things that happened in the last 24 hours.
Take a moment to do that now,
Breathing in the gratitude.
And now,
Let's take a moment to define what kind of sleep you want to have tonight.
Do you want to have deep sleep,
Dark sleep,
Safe sleep,
Sound sleep?
What will this sleep bring to you?
Dreams,
Answers,
Rest?
Whatever it is,
Take a moment to define how you will sleep and what that sleep will give you.
Amazing.
And now,
Take a moment to say a few affirmations.
If you've done my morning meditation,
Perhaps you've already started to develop an affirmation practice or maybe you do affirmations outside of these meditations.
Whatever positive affirmative statements you want to use,
Take a few minutes to do that now.
If you're stuck on what to say,
Some options could be,
I deeply love and completely accept myself.
I'm doing a great job.
I open myself up to abundance of every kind.
All is well in my world and I am safe.
Take a few minutes to say your affirmations out loud or in your head right now.
And that's all you need to do.
Today is complete.
Congratulations,
My love.
You have lived another day and you have done it spectacularly,
Even if that is not how you feel right now.
I'm going to hold that space for you.
You've done so great today.
You did such a great job.
Say that to yourself right now.
I did so great today.
I'm doing a great job.
Life can be hard sometimes and I am more than equipped for everything that comes in my path.
I love and approve of myself all is well and I love you.
Good night.
Take this moment now to give yourself permission to stop thinking,
To let go and to sleep deeply.
I love you so much and I will see you in the morning to start our great day for tomorrow.
Good night.
Sweet dreams.
I love you very much.
