Meandering
by Riley Lee
Sometimes, the best thing to do is simply to meander. This 60-minute shakuhachi solo recording is meant to be listened to passively, in the way that one might listen to the sounds of leaves rustling in the wind, or a small waterfall in the garden, or birdsong. Though there are 10 distinct compositions, there is only one track, which indeed meanders! You can begin or end listening to this track anywhere. The music was recorded at the Maui Zen Villa in Hawai'i in 2008.
