Reclaim Your Rest. Reignite Your Joy. Reconnect with Yourself. Five days away from the life you’re managing. A small group of women who know what it means to carry a lot. And enough time, care, and quiet to hear yourself again. The Compassion Collective Summer Solstice Retreat is an intimate, four-night gathering rooted in self-compassion, rest, sisterhood, creativity, and reconnecting with your sovereign self. There is no predetermined theme or one-size-fits-all retreat curriculum. Instead, the experience is shaped around the women who come. Before we gather, each guest completes a personal intake and has a private conversation with retreat facilitator Esther Boykin. The questions, transitions, longings, and themes emerging in the group become the foundation for our time together. Our days move slowly on purpose. Mornings begin around the breakfast table, followed by meditation once everyone has had her coffee, tea, quiet, or morning walk. Throughout the retreat, we’ll move between facilitated conversation, creative practice, restorative movement, reflection, long shared meals, laughter, and generous stretches of unscheduled time. There is room to nap. Read. Journal. Sit outside. Talk for hours. Take a walk alone. Or simply do less than you normally allow yourself to do. The schedule is responsive rather than rigid because what the women gathered need in the moment matters more than checking everything off an itinerary. And care here is personal. Your favorite snacks waiting in the kitchen, a candle in a scent you love beside your bed, music that moves your body and your soul, meals meant to linger over, and people who understand that rest includes deep conversation, belly laughs, solitude, dancing, tears, and absolutely nothing at all. As one past guest described it: “A Compassion Collective Retreat is like the exhale on a Jill Scott song.” Come experience what becomes possible when your care is centered and celebrated.

Testimonials

info

As a woman of color, I often feel alone navigating this world. On retreat, I had this awakening of just how much I needed connection. All this self-doubt is not unique to me but most of us carry it. I am still in awe of how masterfully Esther held space for me and the other women.

Juliet, United States

This is a place of belonging. After having it I can't, I can't really imagine not having it in my life. I am grateful for the way the Collective continues to stay very connected between retreats.
