Details

Five days of spring, voice, bhakti, kirtan, harmonium and stillness in the Swedish forest. We gather at a small cluster of red wooden houses tucked inside a protected nature reserve in Smaland, entirely ours for the days we're there. This is both a retreat and a training: daily Harmonium sessions run for every level, from complete beginners who have never touched the instrument to those who already lead kirtan back home. Each morning, a yoga journey grounds the group before the day begins, moving through breath, asana and Kriya. Through the afternoons and evenings, Kirtan and Harmonium training builds technique, chords, and the confidence to eventually lead a chant of your own. Between sessions, there is the forest, the lake, and the wood-fired sauna. Canoes, kayaks, and a stillness that's hard to find anywhere else. The atmosphere is grounded and unhurried: structured enough to genuinely learn something, spacious enough to actually rest.
