Hello, and thank you for choosing my meditation. I am a psychotherapist and school counselor. I am committed to teaching meditation to young people as a coping strategy to sustain good mental health. COVID-19 changed our world and we had to adapt quickly. My recordings are for young people, parents and anyone who believes in a balanced approach to living.

Welcome to this morning's meditation,

Breathing.

Find a comfortable position.

This can be sitting in a chair or lying on a mat.

Close your eyes and place a hand on your chest and abdomen.

Draw your attention to your breath.

Inhale.

Hold.

And exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

And exhale.

Filling your lungs with the breath of the morning.

And now our focus is totally on our breath.

I would like you to inhale for eight,

Hold for eight,

And exhale for eight.

Feel your tensions melt away.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in,

A new day.

And exhaling all the tensions that your body is holding on to.

Try to retain this level of relaxation throughout your day.

Simple short and sweet breath guidance- with the added bonus of bored chirping! Thank you for sharing! 😊
