You have all the power you need.
You are mighty and strong.
Have you ever looked at an acorn?
It's unassuming,
Bland,
Even boring.
But inside each acorn is the entire building material for a giant oak tree.
We are just like the acorn.
Full of potential.
Just waiting for the right conditions to start our growth.
To awaken our power.
What are the right conditions for you?
Where are you planted?
Are you in rocky soil full of sharp edges and things that bring you pain?
Are you in a place that suffocates?
That doesn't allow you the space you need to expand?
How can you find a more fertile space?
A space of contentment and possibility?
Maybe there are rocks or twigs you can remove.
Or maybe there's a new spot of soil you can claim as your own,
Away from suffocating elements.
Take the time to look around and assess your soil.
Does it allow you to grow?
An acorn also needs light.
And so do we.
What is your source of light?
Do you surround yourself with those who fill you with light,
Or those who fill you with darkness?
Do you spend too much time in the shadows?
How can you move towards greater light in your life?
Maybe it's just a matter of turning more often towards goodness.
Choosing to focus on positivity instead of letting yourself be weighed down by negativity.
Grow towards the sun.
And finally,
Water is the source of life.
Water renews,
Refreshes,
And replenishes.
Water carries nutrients through the plant and supports the structure so that it stands tall.
Without water,
A plant droops and stagnates.
What is your source of refreshment?
How can you support your inner soul to help it stand tall?
Your meditative practice can be that life-giving source,
But so can a friend,
A child,
A thought,
A song.
Find what fills you and gives you strength.
Find your spot to be planted.
Reach towards the sun and fill your soul with power.
Visualize growth and visualize greatness.
