Hello,
Awaken Creative.
Another Dawn Chorus is calling.
Can you hear it?
Before sunrise.
And the birds are saying,
Let's go.
As we settle in ground here.
Or maybe before,
Pause this.
We're going to be working with crayons today.
Grab your favorite set.
Inexpensive foundation.
I'm using newsprint to paint on.
And we are going to draw down that color.
That dawn chorus,
The birds are singing into the silence.
All right,
Stand or sit.
In front of your canvas.
Place your hands upon it.
It's a season where windows are wide open.
The birds.
Before sunrise.
Peeking into the gentle stillness of the spring morning.
I let it fill me.
Become a part of me.
From the soles of my feet firmly planted on the ground.
All the way through the hands resting upon this surface.
What is the resonance?
Of their song.
Let's paint.
Let's draw it.
Let's see.
With that transference spaghetti.
As has been the case in other.
.
.
Creative meditations.
I'm using my non-dominant hand.
This the non-dominant For me being the right hand.
Still.
Releases that intuitive responsiveness.
Overhead and intellect response.
The creative response,
If you will.
Less controlled.
More organic.
Even in selecting my colors.
I'm randomizing it Wherever I land first.
A dawn chorus.
I'm not sure the birds would agree.
But a fun expression.
A delight in movement.
And a delicious way to waken up that creative brain into your day.
Suggestion for you from here.
Tear it up.
Cut it up.
Paint into the pieces.
Make many small.
From the start.
But perhaps.
Use it all as collage material.
Reassemble it.
Into its next iteration.
