Week 20.
My goodness,
Where's this year going?
We're in a 1 year numerologically.
We come by that by adding the digits of the year,
2 plus 0 plus 2 plus 6,
And reducing them to 1 digit.
Therefore,
1.
In numerology,
A 9 year cycle through those 1 through 9 single digit numbers help guide and tell the story of life.
It's a spiraling life,
Not a circling life.
We return to similar places on a 9 year cycle,
But never the same.
Spiraling up.
Here we are in week 20,
And let's dig in and see what it has to tell us and guide us as we keep moving with our choices and decisions and ways in which we are enervated and invigorated to get a start on something.
I need to close my eyes to see.
In this one year,
We can get caught up in an enervation of starting.
Take a flying leap and jump into what we sense as something that needs creating,
Or doing,
Or making.
It's interesting to me to realize that some of the biggest things on my heart is this phrase,
I need to close my eyes to see.
This statement ties into the card I pulled in Tarot for this year's sense overplay for my life,
The Knight of Pentacles.
Of the four knights in Tarot,
This is the only one who's not moving.
He's sitting stoically upon his steed,
Holding gently this pentacle in his hand in front of him.
He's not racing forward.
The horse isn't chomping at the bit.
I need to close my eyes to see.
Every other sensation is heightened when we humans shut out this primary mode of information intake.
As a call to myself this year,
It seems contrary to any ability to create in the studio.
And yet,
It's baguette and explosion in the studio.
An explosion of fresh,
New,
Curious.
I'm moving and creating in ways that are unexpected to me,
Yet also in an intriguing way a revisit to creations of past.
Most importantly though,
I'm seeing that this message,
This idea,
This one year of creation,
Is almost contrary to everything I would,
And perhaps you too would expect of this one.
Especially as it's also,
In the Chinese New Year,
The year of the firehorse.
That all conjures images of speed,
Of action.
And yet,
As I close my eyes on those thoughts,
There's a rich expanse,
A landscape redolent with everything I already hold in my hands.
Action is still possible.
I'm on a horse.
Everything I need right there in my hands.
So I also get quiet.
I be small.
What if the world is a massive expanse?
When I stay right here,
With what's in my hands,
And I close my eyes,
What if you hold everything in your hand?
Close your eyes to see.
Awaken creative.
Today.
