Awaken creative to day 5 of our 40 day journey together to live more authentically,
Wholly,
And truthfully the spark of our divine nature.
Whether you hold a brush,
A pencil,
A hammer,
A keyboard.
You are here to live creatively into this life as a co-creator with that divine spark you possess.
It is unique,
It is individual,
And it has a purpose.
We don't search for it.
It finds us,
Or it is in us.
The more we align,
The more we connect,
And the more it spreads throughout the world and the places it's meant to alight.
In my workshops and retreats that I teach,
I often struggle to connect the intention of my heart with the purpose of gathering people together in a live environment to create.
My greatest ambition is to help everybody know that they have everything they need within.
All the integrity,
All the will,
All the effort,
All the ideas are pre-possessed by each of us.
It is with the tools I provide,
And the environment I create,
That I hope,
Or my ambition,
Is to help everybody connect to that.
To discover everything they need is within.
That's in contradiction to showing up and bringing along so much material,
So much supply,
And so much idea.
I've learned over the years that's not the point.
I'm not subjugating my greatest desire to help others identify they have everything within by handing them this multiplicity of tool and environment.
No,
In fact,
They're perfectly aligned because until one meets the other,
That ambition and will,
That drive and dream from within connects to that exterior material or idea from another.
Not until those connect do we realize the full potential of that dream we've possessed.
This is day six.
Awake and creative.
And we're here to give thought,
Or pause,
To how it is we take that will,
And I call it divine will,
And make it truthful,
Honest,
And connective in the world we engage.
I posit one question for you to contemplate today,
Or perhaps it's more of a statement to hold in your head,
In your heart,
As you go about your day holding those tools that are yours.
No matter if you show up in this life to create a painting,
A novel,
A home,
A piece of software,
A building,
An event,
We all are here to create with the light that is in us.
With that in mind,
The statement,
There is no greater creative act than the making of a life.
That is the simplest,
Distilled down version of my truth.
I believe this.
And if I can ignite the fire of just one by this truth,
Through whatever mean and mode I get to express in this life,
Then I have done my job well.
So here I am telling you,
Awake and creative,
Own your life,
Create it.
