We're nearly there.
Awaken creative.
Hello to today.
Yesterday we explored values and committed to a heart contract or created a heart contract into which a commitment can be made.
This is something that's purely with ourself.
Our understanding of desire and purpose and passion.
Today we're going to take that information,
That internal contracting out to the world and find its conjunction point.
Or rather,
Find how best to make the conjunction and communion happen with the world.
It's another exercise to get paper and pen and sit back,
Finding a comfortable position that helps you open,
Release tensions,
Anticipations,
And simply enjoy your own presence.
I call these principles of delivery.
So whereas yesterday we created a heart contract that highlighted our values,
Those things that need to be returned to regularly,
Faced,
And reminded so that we get that peaceful,
Aligned sensation through our heart,
Solar plexus,
And gut.
Those values and that heart contract are what?
Create the four posts that begin to build the structure of your life or career or ambitions.
These principles of delivery then are the walls,
The windows and doorways through which the world comes and you go into that world.
It's the shared space,
It's the visible space.
It's what comes once all of that structuring underneath has been firmly established.
Make three columns or three headings.
I call these talent,
Timing,
And trust.
The principles of delivery are tenets.
Again,
A sort of agreement or landing point of reminding.
The principles of delivery through which you have lived out these values or are living out these values or aim to live out those heart contracted values into the unique space of the world that is yours.
At this point,
If you've listened,
You're pretty clear that I'm an artist,
So I enter this world,
The big world of ours,
Through the section of art,
Visual creativity,
Imagination,
And intentionality around beauty.
My heart contract is to create beauty or specifically create an environment where beauty manifests.
The tenets that I carry that into the world with fit this trine of headings.
So the one I've labeled talent is something I've felt in my gut since the beginning of time,
My time,
And has gone both ways in my mind.
It has enabled and empowered me to hold space for others,
To create that environment,
And it has also had me burning down the house,
Convinced that if everybody has everything within that I serve no purpose,
And therefore,
As I say,
Tearing down the house,
The structure I was living in and creating.
This is where I throw caution to all of you.
Identify these,
First your heart contract and then these principles of delivery so that you can double check when that demon of destruction wants to tease at your heels,
Because it will.
So,
As I just mentioned,
Under this talent,
My first tenet,
And the principle of delivery through which I show up creating this environment is that we all have all we need within.
As I said,
That can be self-destructive.
I serve no purpose if everyone comes with everything they need within.
Where I stand and hold space is just there,
In holding space.
For the realization of what is within each individual who shows up can reveal itself.
Because oftentimes,
A person can be in an environment of relationships,
Career path,
Familial struggles,
That isn't safe to ascertain what this beautiful knowledge within is speaking to.
When I came to see that that is my value,
That I didn't need to burn down the house because I was building something that was unnecessary since everybody had everything within.
When I realized that holding the space of safety and integrity and also providing tools,
Practices,
The art of expression in this safe space,
Simply providing and making space was an incredible gift.
I find it exceedingly easy and also immensely enjoyable.
That was one clue to the fact that it's mine and it's a really good thing and it's meant to be.
It was up to me to discern where those principles of delivery were being tossed aside,
Tossed asunder by the devil in my hand.
Timing.
Timing is almost as important as identifying that talent space.
Because knowing that creating the space and providing the tools of discovery for people opened up my heart and soul,
So does the right timing.
If I come to deliver information at an evening lecture or heaven forbid a night concert of some sort,
It still flabbergasts me that there's a whole culture that can begin at 8 p.
M.
If I attempt to show up at those time frames,
I am not my truest and best self.
I'm a quintessential morning person.
Give me a sunrise,
Give me a dark before sunrise,
And I am full of enthusiasm and energy for the beautiful thing that is purpose and place.
So timing.
I schedule as best I can to include everyone,
Knowing that there are those people who best serve beginning at 8 p.
M.
But I also,
When I know I have to show up wholly and completely,
When I have to deliver on some goods,
Talents,
Or tricks,
Or tools,
My best timing to pass that information along with the spirit and energy that's needed is going to be me showing up in the morning.
Or midday at best.
No,
At worst.
Therefore,
Talent,
Timing,
And now trust.
When we start framing these values and heart contracts,
And then these principles of delivery,
It can get a little heady.
The ego can step in and want a pat on the back.
Look at you,
How important you are.
Look at you identifying your gifts,
Knowing that they exist,
And preparing to put them into the world.
Ego is necessary.
But ego has a place.
Yes,
Look at you becoming your best self,
Identifying your greatest self.
But also,
Look at everyone else,
Each of us,
All of us here,
Doing this work.
So unique,
And so universal.
So genius,
And so simple.
We are both.
We are all.
You are everything,
And you are nothing.
That's not a window or a door through which the devil gets to come back in.
That's a beautiful humility that should make your heart expand.
So trust.
For me,
What that means is that it's not up to me.
I now know my job,
My place,
And my purpose.
It is to create an environment.
It is to show up at my best time.
It is to provide the tools of service or practice that allow others to step in.
And then to let go.
It's dangerous if you try to step over that line where your job has come to a close,
And you let others,
Or the universe,
Take their step.
To manipulate or contrive beyond the point where you have done your job beautifully is to mix a massive brew that nobody wants to drink.
Timing and trust.
These principles of delivery.
The tenets through which we live our best values and truths into the world.
Through which we take that heart contract and begin to build the walls and windows and doors through which we'll interact with the world.
These principles of delivery keep you alive,
Keep you in your lane.
Not solitary,
But unique on this universal road of life.
Enjoy the journey.
You're nearly there.
Awaken.
Create.
