Hey,
What's up everyone?
Chris Coda here.
I just want to come on and speak on a topic that we spoke on on a mastermind group today.
Several of them actually.
So it was mindset,
And how to break free from the self doubt,
And the notorious imposter syndrome.
So what we've discovered is a lot of you are probably facing these same scenarios where you start doubting yourself,
And you think you're not good enough,
And you think you're not,
You just can't do this,
You can't do that,
You can't be.
So you really need to get a positive support group that can support you,
Keep you accountable,
And help you break away from the negative mindset.
Mindset is key in today's world,
Especially in 2020 with COVID,
And you're being shoved all this media down your throat.
Negative media,
Nothing positive,
There's nothing positive on TV.
It's all negative.
It is designed to program you to operate with the negative mindset.
So my suggestion is don't watch the news.
Why not build your business,
Or help somebody build their business,
Or help somebody at a local charity,
Like give back,
Do some giving back.
When you can give,
You can unlock some greatness.
You start planting the seeds,
And those seeds will grow.
They could grow into something that you would never expect.
You've got to allow God to do his work.
That's the key.
So,
And then,
So the other thing,
And I'm kind of rambling here,
I'm going to be the rambler on the podcast,
Because this is a new podcast for me,
But I am going to go in all out,
Unscripted,
Unedited,
I will never edit a podcast.
Why?
Let's keep it real.
Interviews are going to start happening.
I'm going to start interviewing people,
And having them ask a Renaissance man.
So the last thing I want to cover is one of the best ways,
So if you are building a business,
And you are moving,
And you are building those blocks,
One of the best ways to address a concern in your business or company is,
I'm going to give a book plug,
I'm not an affiliate,
But one of the best books I have found for business is The One Minute Manager.
And you do a one minute reprimand when something doesn't go right,
And you've got to reprimand your employee.
But you first,
You do,
We're going to call it a compliment sandwich.
And first,
You give them a compliment,
Hey Jim,
You know,
I really love the work ethic that you put in,
You work really hard,
And I'm so happy and thankful,
And I really value you as a client,
And I know you're just doing an amazing job,
I see it,
I believe it,
I feel it,
Thank you for that.
Jim's like,
Oh man,
Awesome.
And the next thing,
Jim,
But what I do need to talk to you about is a client with ABC Incorporated,
You know,
They came to me and had some concerns and I did some digging,
I never accept anything first,
I look for the facts,
I analyze it,
And they weren't happy with XYZ,
Whatever,
And I think,
Not I think,
I know you can do a better job next time,
And if you want to run through some scenarios of me,
How can you do this better,
We can do that,
We'll do that in a different conversation,
So,
Just please be more cautious on the way you're handling the situation,
And as always,
Man,
Jim,
I value you so much,
Like I'm so happy you're on our team and I really appreciate you,
Alright,
Awesome,
So now,
Get out there,
Go make those clients happy,
Be the Jim I know you can be,
And that's one of my tidbits for the day.
The other thing I want to touch on,
And it's a very,
Very sensitive subject,
When you're going through those imposter syndromes,
Or those self doubts,
Tell yourself,
Make a couple notes,
Tell yourself what did I tolerate today,
Make a list of what you tolerated today,
And make a list of the most badass things that you've ever done,
And whose life have you helped change,
And what have you overcome,
Make those lists,
When you make those lists,
You're going to start to melt the negative mindset,
The imposter syndrome,
The self doubt,
It's going to melt away,
And God's going to take it,
And he's going to pour it into some river somewhere,
And it'll be gone forever,
And you'll be well on your way to becoming a more enlightened,
Better version of yourself.
That's it folks,
Thanks,
Hope you enjoyed this,
I'm going to start getting longer and longer on these podcasts,
I'm not plugging anything yet,
Not running any ads yet,
I don't want to do that yet,
I want to build this unscripted,
I'm going to be helping as many people in the world as I can,
Answer their most difficult top three problems that keeps them up at night in life or business,
Because if you're going through it,
I've probably been through it.
Chris Cota,
Signing off.
