Pause,
Stopping whatever you're doing,
Finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Letting your body come into stillness.
Letting your body breathe naturally.
Slowing down.
Letting go of the need to do anything,
To achieve anything.
There is not a thing that you need to accomplish right now.
It's enough just to exist.
Senses opening wide to the roar of existence.
Receiving ambient sounds from the environment around you.
Sounds from near and far.
Allowing perceptions to come to you.
No need to search or seek for any experience right now.
Feeling the throb of the body.
Fizzing in the hands.
Fizzing in the feet.
Feel of your clothing.
Noticing the part of you that tries to do the practice.
And easing back,
Relaxing back.
Just allowing the guidance to come to you.
Letting the practice happen all by itself.
Pausing.
Letting go of the need to do anything.
Letting go of the need even to listen to these words.
Simply being.
Simply existing.
Feeling the weight of your body.
Feeling the contact with whatever surface is supporting you.
And perhaps on each out-breath just releasing your weight a little bit more into the ground.
Sensing the change in pressure as you fully give up and let go of the weight of the body.
Feeling that the ground will hold you.
Just being here.
If you find it helpful you might say to yourself,
I'm just being here.
I don't need to do anything.
I can just be.
Feeling the body.
Your clothing on your skin.
Even having a sense of the space around the body.
Allowing yourself to be an openness of receptivity.
Life flowing through you as you rest here on the edge of the present moment.
Nothing to do.
Nothing to achieve.
Life happens.
Life unfolds.
All by itself.
Taking a few more moments just to be.
Letting go of all intention.
Letting go of the need to fix anything or change anything.
Allowing life to be just as it is.
And when you're ready beginning to open your eyes.
Taking in the space around you.
As you open to life.
And continue with your day.
Thank you.
