Remembering Dr. Larry Ward – Healing Harp Music

When I heard of the passing of Dr. Larry Ward, a renowned Dharma teacher known as the “True Great Sound" in the Plum Village tradition, I wanted to make a musical offering to all grieving his loss.

Dr. Ward spoke for the mindfulness group at my university last year. The first day he was scheduled to speak, there were catastrophic storms that took out the power on the coast, and our Zoom meeting remained empty. We waited several days before word was able to travel that he and his wife, Dr. Peggy Ward, were okay. This time, the news is different, and instead of relief, there is sadness.

Yet there has also been inspiration, hearing the genuine outpouring of heartfelt testimonies from the many, many people whose paths he touched. May everyone so connected find both comfort and peace.
